Works good for my 34" ultrawide monitor. Mount is secured to a stud in the wall, but the joints in the arm have a slight bit of play. I'm concerned it might fail and break my monitor some day, but it's working for now. If it can support a 49", I'm sure my 34" is no problem.

At first I was disappointed because the arm with the piston was not holding the weight of the monitor. I did some troubleshooting as per the instructions and held the arm horizontally and did the adjustment by turning the hex screw in the "+" direction until it was completely tight. Unfortunately that didn't work, I was convinced the monitor was just to heavy for the Mount. But since the company advertised that the wall mount it could hold my specific monitor and any monitor up too 44 lb (my 49 inch curve monitor weighs ~33 lbs). So I decided to just uninstall everything with and tighten everything really tight piece by piece and made sure to tighten the adjustment screw as tight as it would let me before mounting the monitor. That did the trick the mount was rock solid and I adjusted down from there as the arm was now to tight and holding my monitor up. When mounting and adjusting is highly advisable to have a second set of hands for help. All in all I'm super happy with my purchase and I am confident this mount will stand the test of time as it's built like a tank! Also make sure like some reviewers have already mention to intall the base plate lower than where you will like to have the monitor face you. As the arms are above the base plate. I made that mistake and now my monitor is a more higher than what I would like. Get it you won't regret it!!! ... show more
