  • Good workmanship and solid
The stove is stainless steel and very solid. The chimney sections store inside to prevent damage. Too heavy to backpack but a solid stove for car camping or on a sled

  • Great stove
This is one of the best deals on a hot tent stove I have found yet. I have several and this is the most complete and right priced. It comes with a nice variety of pipes it's solid made no frills to cause problems it's easy to carry and maintain

  • Outstanding Company!
One Tigris all the way baby, this company knows how to do business! I was so amazed at how well it was packaged and how everything was there in such a neatly organized way! I can just tell it's a great company. It was also shipped out speedily so thanks to the seller (I forgot who that is). I haven't used it yet but I already know how that's going to go. This thing is top notch quality! I'm so very excited to have this! All I'll say is it's probably not a good idea to burn hardwood unless it's very small pieces. You just don't wanna warp something that's so very nice. Keep the heat in the medium range as best as possible. Take good care of this work of art! Edit: I just want to comment again and stress the fact that when you buy from a company like this your buying from one of the best businesses you could possibly deal with. The pride in craftsmanship shows. These days when everything is on a downward spiral for the most part, this company seems not to be effected by any of it. ... show more

  • Works as advertised!
I've never had a wood fire camp stove for heating my tent before, BOY was I missing out. This little stainless steel number is wonderful for those bitter cold nights outside. It's easy to get toasty warm with just a little fire in a single person tent. I've even been able to leave the door open while this little stove pumps out enough heat to warm my entire tent space and then some. It's one of my new favorite things! I haven't tried cooking on it yet but I'm excited I have that option. I've also used it outside my tent to keep me warm while lounging. It's nice to have the fire contained and not have some of the worries that come with a camp fire. All in all this was a GREAT purchase! Thank you! ... show more

  • Pretty good
New to the wood stoves so some of my troubles could be user error. There is a considerable amount of smoke that gets out when refilling. Even when using hardwood. Definitely make sure you have good ventilation when refilling. It's a little small and burns out quick. But it matches the description. I just didn't know what I needed. I will say that the pipe fitment was a bit disciplining. Had to do some manipulating because the fitment was so tight. ... show more

  • Keeps the She-Shed Warm and Toasty
I bought this for my wife to use in her log She-Shed in the woods. She had no problem with assembly and says it keeps it warm and toasty. The fact that the pipes come with it and are not rolled sheet metal is a big plus.

  • It’s called a tent stove, but I cannot recommend this for use in a tent
I really want to like this stove, It’s sturdy and compact; however, there are several design issues and I have serious safety concerns. Let me start by saying the stove was well packed in a heavy duty box and foam padding. All of the stove accessories fit in the stove for easy storage. Thick leather gloves are included to protect your hands from sharp edges while assembling . Moving beyond these basic observations concerns arise. There is about 15 inches of usable length inside the stove box. This is fine for bushcraft use, but commercial/store bought firewood is typically 16-17 inches in length and cannot be used. Yet if the stove is intended for bushcraft, why isn’t there an integrated handle or similar way to easily transport this heavy stove. While in use, If you close the flue even a small amount smoke spills out of the stove through the door and flue adjuster and can quickly accumulate in an enclosed space. For practical use you should close the flue slightly once the stove is going to help retain the heat in the box and reduce fuel usage. Even following the procedure of opening the flue all the way and opening the door slowly will allow smoke to fill an enclosed space. When using in a tent, it’s advisable to use a smoke/carbon monoxide detector yet the smoke detector alerts within seconds of adjusting the damper or opening and you’ll have to turn it off. Major safety concern. I cannot stress enough how important a functioning smoke/carbon monoxide detector is while using a stove in any enclosed space. The space for ash under the bottom grate is very limited and unless you clear out the coals and ash every few hours the stove ceases to fully burn wood and constantly spews smoke from the pipe. For this reason I consider this stove an expensive novelty item that’s not meant to be used for more than a few hours at a time before cooling down and maintaining the ash and coals that will accumulate in the base of the box. I’ve reached out to OneTigris support email with my concerns and they indicated to reduce smoke I should follow the same procedure I outlined above. They also indicated I should clean out the bottom of the fire box if I didn’t want ash and coals to accumulate. Again, not going to do that in a tent. This indicates the stove was not intended to be used for more than a few hours at a time. If you intend to use this tent stove to heat your tent, look elsewhere. To Summarize: Practical use is as a stove used outdoors. Load wood in the stove, cook then allow to cool, maintain coals before next use. Requires cleaning of fire box every few hours to maintain efficient burn and to reduce smoke. Use your own firewood, locally harvested cut to length by you. Not designed to be used with commercial firewood which is typically 16-17 inches in length. It’s heavy, not easy to transport (unless the bush is 5 feet from your vehicle). Stove leaks smoke around the firebox and door. ... show more

  • Excellent stove
Had this stove for a couple weeks now using it daily in my greenhouse. I flip-flopped about buying this stove thinking it might be a POS but it definitely isn’t. Very well built. Thicker stainless than I expected. Absolutely love it!
