I really liked the aesthetic of the cat tree and thought it would be nice for my cat on the deck. It looks great. I thought it was relatively easy to assemble though a bit wobbly. I do worry about it tipping over when my cat jumps on it but it seems to be sturdy enough.     • Nice, easy to assemble tree! Highly recommend it!
We just received it and quickly set it up. Very easy to set up except for the very top part. Required a bit of patience to get the top piece just right to screw it tightly in place. Well worth the price and effort putting it together. Attractive and realistic tree. Not that our spoiled kitties needed another tree but I liked the looks of this one. One con is only the fake grass and levels are scratchable. The trunks are plastic. Why they didn't make them into scratching posts is beyond me. It certainly wouldn't have taken much. We fixed that with purchasing some manila rope and circling and gluing in place to make scratching posts out of the trunks for our cats. Otherwise, five out of five stars for this tree. One out of three cats in the room during assembly already gave it a quick perusal after assembly. Highly recommend. ... show more

**Update** I'm still loving this cat tree, but it's worth noting that the limbs just simply do not remain in their little sockets very well. One of my cats has claimed the tree as hers - she's a small cat that loves darting in & out of the limbs, which has resulted in me finding fallen limbs on a daily basis. I did however find a solution to the problem by adding a drop of hot glue to each socket and pressing the limbs into place. Only 2 have come loose after several weeks, which I attribute to me having not applied enough hot glue to those particular limbs. It's a little time consuming and certainly disappointing that this is necessary, but it was worth the effort in my opinion. I recommend you save yourself the time & trouble and hot glue them upon first assembly. :) ***************************************** I bought this several months in anticipation of putting it out for my 3 cats in the master bedroom once some renovations we were having done were complete. Instead of the usual carpet tower, I wanted something that my cats could climb on that also looked a bit more like decor and this pretty much nailed it. Simple to assemble and quite sturdy & my cats immediately took to it. It is worth noting that the limbs can pop out of their little sockets when the cats are actively playing in the tree rather than doing what they do most of the time in it, which is sleep. I'm not sure how well the little plastic limb sockets are going to hold up after repeatedly popping them back into place, but it's not that big of a deal so far. So far, it looks great and serves its intended purpose for the cats and I'm very satisfied with my purchase. ... show more

In the pictures included, the item I'm reviewing right now is ONLY the tree which in the first pictures on the bottom left-hand corner. I chose the 60" (5 ft) tree with the square base. The bottom is covered in green AstroTurf, assembly is extremely simple, the plastic pieces that are meant to resemble bark look realistic from a distance. This tree is extremely sturdy. I have two cats. A 15lb Norwegian Forest cat and a now 5 lb Bengal kitten. The kitten loved this climbing tree from day one. The only thing that's mildly annoying is that the leaves come off, let me correct that the kitten loves to chew the leaves off. So the leaves are sturdy but it seems cats like to chew them off. The leaves don't disintegrate when they're chewed theyre a type of plasticy fabric. In the larger picture you can see I paired this tree with one of the shelves from the same company. Then I purchased a smaller normal floating shelf for very cheap from an outside company as well as two small mountable staircases. Basically I created a big treehouse for the cats. The Bengal is in heaven and loves scampering up and down. The older cat will lay on the tree platforms but isn't interested in going any higher than the tree itself. For me this was money well spent. It's an interesting piece and well yes it's cat furniture, it's a conversation piece as well and doesn't look cheap and flimsy. I added a picture of the kitten sticking his head out from the leaves, the company was very generous with the placement of the foliage, any cat can have full coverage and feel like they're hiding in a jungle while lounging on this tree. ***Edited to add**** I’ve seen a lot of negative reviews about this being difficult to put together or being bent or the rods holding the tree to the base being stripped obviously I can only talk to my experience but you absolutely have to read the instructions that come with this!! It seems stupid and I know a lot of people are like no I’m just gonna put it together it’s simple enough but the fact of the matter is if you don’t read the exact instructions do them in the exact order Titan to the exact amount and then complete the project and go back the item will not go together appropriately it will bend it will strip and it’s not because the product isn’t of good quality it’s that instructions aren’t being followed . This item is not made out of surgical grade titanium I don’t think it was designed to be put together and then taken apart although you could probably do that once or twice without much of a problem but again if you’re going to spend the money on this take the extra two minutes read the instructions and follow them to put it together and you should have a good experience. ... show more
