  • at least a dozen important but seemingly small innovations
For family, event, travel and other photography, it is the very best moderately small and light digital camera today, but not cheap! Olympus may not discount this model for a long time. For faster-than-light young kids, it is a photo moment saver, even more so with ProCapture. Actually I counted at least a dozen important but seemingly small innovations ... they add up to a very impressive camera, especially for eyeglasses wearers (with the unique 27 mm high eye point viewfinder cannot be overstated, to see all corners/edges of the frame). This model has so many new features to grow your skills which makes it a keeper for many years to come. ... show more

  • Great all around camera for its small size
I upgraded to this from the OMD-EM5 mark 2. I really loved the mark 2, but wanted 120 FPS, and the bit extra MP. This camera did not disappoint. I use it on the road for both photo and video and it's small size, great stabilization, and capabilities work well. I have no issues with the body being plastic, or some sort of plastic. That keeps the weight down. I got if over the OMD-EM1 mark 2 because of the size (for about the same price). In the end, the camera is a tool, and you have to find one that works for you. The OMD-EM5 mark 3 is pretty much perfect for travel and blogging on the road. ... show more

  • Great camera
Most excellent camera. Very glad I purchased. Best MFT camera for the money. But the grip🫤

  • Great mirrorless camera
Olympus makes the best mirrorless cameras. I know they are selling the camera division, but these are still worth it and are great cameras. Best IBIS, and the other new features are pretty great! Still working through all the functions, and learning on this one (also have an EM10, so this is quite an upgrade for me). The autofocus is much faster on this model compared to the EM10 mk1. Images appear much sharper over the EM10 as well (figures since it's a much newer camera, but just wanted to mention it anyway). I use it a lot for wildlife photography, and my images have been great so far. No pics missed yet due to autofocus issues. If you are looking to upgrade, or get into a new camera system, Olympus is still a great choice. ... show more

  • Excellent Light-Weight Professional Camera System
I started a number of years ago with an Olympus OMD EM-5 and loved its capabilities and its light weight as well as the lenses that are available. The EM-5 Mark III is even better with significantly more capability. A great camera for portrait, macro, or landscape. Great for vacations!

  • Not a review, just my opinion
I love it, it's fantastic. I now know what it's like having a PRO-like camera on hands. Though, top dials are dificult to manipulate. My only complaint is with custom (C1,C2,...) presets ... are hidden on the main menu; not very useful.

  • A smaller, lighter EM1 mkII ?
I own an IM1 MKII and was looking for something even smaller and lighter for travel. My trial so far has been very successful and I do not miss the features missing from this camera vs the EM1 (one card, poly-carb body, etc.). Time will tell if the camera will hold up under tough travel conditions, but as one reviewer said, "They make football helmets out of plastic!" ... show more

  • Great handling tiny camera
Works terrific with my old legacy lenses and an inexpensive adapter. Focus peaking helps a lot in precise focus manually. I was slightly disappointed with the EVF which I expected to be a lot better than my eight year old micro 4/3 camera. Handles amazingly well for such a tiny camera
