I have nothing negative to say about this Olympic bar. The grips are well designed and serve their purpose. There are no imperfections on the bar, no sharp metal shards and no design errors. This is a great Barbell for the price. You aren't buying a Rogue barbell or anything like that, so don't expect that level of a barbell, but you also aren't paying those high prices. For the normal at home gym doing less than 1000 lb lifts, this is totally sufficient, and for the prices, it can't be beat. Great knurling, decent rotation on the sleeves, and the correct weight and length. You will likely need to tighten the bolt on the sleeve though. ... show more

Excellent barbell. Has ridges on the plate loader to hold the weights in place better if you don't use clips (or even if you do). It does make a lot of noise when loading the weights though. The grip diamond pattern allows a solid grip even if your hands are a little sweaty. Holds heavy weight and doesn't bend easily. Highly recommend for a home use barbell. ... show more

This is my first ever purchase of a barbell so I don't have anything to compare it with but it feels like it's a good one. The price is right for me. The weight is 35 pounds rather than the usual 45 pounds. In a way this was good for me cause this is my first time and wanted to make sure I will be able to use it well enough.
