This fryer is good for simple very very SIMPLE FRYING. Not for long term frying. The only thing I dislike about it, is that you can not have both sides plugged in at the same time on the same breaker. They have to be on different breakers. Ex: I’ll have one plug up at my house outside on the porch then I’ll run an extension cord to my neighbors house and use her breaker as well. I REALLY REALLY DONT LIKE THAT. ABSOLUTE WORST. You also can not fry for long periods of time before the grease starts to burn. Doesn’t even have to be turned up all the way. It’s a lot of pros n cons to this product but it gets the job done. I’m a chef n I use it for certain occasions but I’m bout to buy something better. I wish could return it Bc I most absolutely would but oh well you never actually know till you really use a product. ... show more

This fryer was to replace a smaller one we have and couldn't be happier. It heats up VERY fast . Has a large capacity . The outside of the unit does take a while to cool off to the touch due to not have very good Insulation. Also I do have to store it wrapped in plastic if I leave any oil in it because the lid is not air tight but I'm OK with it . It has been one of the best fryers that we have gotten. And would recommend to any family that has a army of kids that are waiting for tater tots. Or fries. ... show more

Purchased this for my small cafe. After 7 weeks of use one side will not turn off, has to be unplugged. Then two days later the other side stopped working all together. Contacted support, their site says they will answer within 24 hours has now been three days and no response. Finally received a replacement after 3 weeks. This one has also died, we are considering contacting Consumer Protection because these are fire hazards, when this one died I took one apart the wires had burned. The metal is so thin and the power switch is located that oil (even at the minimum level) will get into the wiring. Definitely not a safe product. ... show more

Got this to replace a cheaper one that took forever to heat. This one still takes some time to heat, but not an unreasonable amount. We probably use it more than we should, but it is up to the hard use. You do need to know temptress that food should be cooked at, and there are odd tempature increments on the dial, but easy to figure out! ... show more
