I love all of the Olly products I’ve tried just wish they had a different flavor available for these because they are sour and I hate sour tastes. I’m vitamin d deficient and I can tell when it’s too low vs when it’s not and taking these really helps keep my levels up

Update: the next day I ventured to take the vitamins again and the taste was normal. No strange smell or aftertaste. So I think the key is open the container, let them cook a full day, then start eating them. There was an attempt at packaging it to keep the gummies cool, but by the time it got here the ice pack was melted and the insulation was actually keeping it very warm. I don’t know if that contributed to the taste, but the aftertaste of these is like a mechanical, burnt-electrical taste. I smelled it when I opened it but decided to try them to see if it was just packaging. Initial flavor is great, but then that odd aftertaste. I don't understand how this has so many positive reviews. Delivery was great - I had it delivered same day from Whole Foods. Product looked great. Not melted and had a good texture. The smell hit me when I opened it - smelled like chemicals - like when plastic is melted in the oven. I made the mistake of popping a couple in my mouth. Taste was like the bad smell + sugar. Choked it down. It's been a while and I still have this nasty aftertaste in my mouth. We have bought other Olly vitamins and they've all been ok. Disappointed because this was pricey compared to comparable vitamins in other brands and will be thrown out. My husband is not picky at all and I had him try it and he spit it out and said to never buy these again. I don't know if I got a bad batch or what because the smell and taste are very bad. ... show more
