As a self-cutting barber, I’ve been using the Magic Clip for 4.5 years now and never thought I’d even consider another brand. I loved how effortless the fades were with the Magic Clip. The blade would get hot after a bit (especially in those latter blending the bottom stages where it’s sometimes a constant struggle to get rid of the line), but I didn’t think much of it since any barber I’ve ever gone to would basically touch my scalp with a branding iron clipper. Anyway, as luck would have it, my Magic Clip started to go (wouldn’t hold charge, motor issues, etc.) — even after all the cleaning procedures. In comes TPOB. A great set priced excellently with all the tools you need to get started. I charged everything per specs then got to work. Let me tell you: this Slime set is fantastic! The clipper blade stayed cool to the touch the entire haircut (usually takes me about 35-45 mins). The click mechanism is great as you’re adjusting so you know exactly where you are and will hear it if you accidentally flick the lever while cutting. The trimmer was able to cut through the remaining hair under the fade like a hot knife through butter! This thing didn’t sputter or falter once! I was previously using the Detailer and if I didn’t cut my hair first with the clipper, this thing would get stuck every other stroke. It was insane. But the TPOB trimmer? Not a problem! It also has a guard around the motor mechanism to prevent hair from really getting in there and causing damage. Lastly, the shaver is the tiniest little powerhouse I’ve ever seen! Fits right in the palm of your hand but gets the job done perfectly! This is a great set that feels well-made and durable and will last a bit. Each piece is made of a plastic body but they don’t feel like they will fall apart. For the clipper, the included guard attachments range from 1/2 up to 4 (6 total). The guards themselves are also plastic but seem durable as well. Definitely an easy to use, well-constructed set that will feel familiar to Magic Clip or Senior users. The media could not be loaded. First let me start by saying these clippers really surprised me. They are great! When you first receive your package and open the box you will be greeted by the clippers looking up at you with the awesome slime green calling out to you. Once you lift the tray up you find all your guards (8 total) your small bottle of oil and a small cleaning brush. You will also find your awesome slime green charging base as well as a supplied charging cord. (Charging block is not included, you only get the cord so make sure you have a block to use it needs a 5v 1amp block for using the charging base and to also charge the clippers without the base. The power is rated at 10 watts and seams to be powerfull, my son has a head full of hair and it cut through with no issues and no bogging down. The battery seams great when I first received the clippers I did as the instructions say and charged them fully before the first use and I have cut my hair (#1) all around and my sons hair using no guard, 1/2 guard and #1 guard and battery still seams to have plenty of charge. They seams to be very durable and made with quality, the size is perfect for my hands and fits comfortably in my hand. I love that they a cordless making them extremely portable and really easy to use anywhere. I like that the taper lever clicks making it less likely that you move the lever adjusting the taper of the blade accidentally. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the purchase of my TPOB Slime 2 hair clippers. Contents include 1. The clippers. 2. Charging base and cord. (block not included) 3. Blade protector. 4. (8) guards. (A 1/16") light grey (B 3/16") dark grey (#1. 1/8") red (#2. 1/4") yellow (#3. 3/8") slime green (#4. 1/2") sky blue (#5. 5/8") pink (#6. 3/4") purple 5. Small cleaning brush. 6. I work in a corporate salon where we mainly specialize in haircuts. I go through clippers, on average, a new pair every 8 to 16 months. My biggest issues with clippers is replacing the blades and never getting them to line up right. Or the new blade experiences "slipping" so it can become dangerous to use. I read the reviews for these, and I'm skeptical about the overall quality, runtime, and usefulness of these clippers. Pros: These clippers charge quickly, and last for a while. On a busy day I've had these drop to what the digital screen says was 60% battery. They cut most hair well. Are they as close and tight as other major brands like Andi's or Wahl? Depends on which models you're using. But these clippers work well for a variety of different haircuts from kids to military guys. I especially like using these on kiddos because they're very quiet so that means they're less distracting. Cons: Not enough power to quickly cut through dense hair. Often if I have a client with really dense, thick hair I have to take extra time to slow down and go through sections about half the width of the blade. Additionally, the trimmer has a plastic piece that protects the rotating pin that moves the blade - this kept popping off on me so I left it off but the exposed pin can sometimes catch longer pieces of hair. Overall, I like how lightweight the unit is and how long the battery lasts. For most haircuts, in a professional setting, these are fine. I especially like the smooth, but firm lever arm as it's not flimsy. ... show more

After a lot of research I decided to go with this brand. These clippers exceeded my expectations. They are quiet and cut very well. The only negative is that they don’t come with more guides. Other than that they are great clippers and feel good.
