I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this. Upon arrival I was very impressed from the moment I got the package. I am a licensed Cosmetologist of 18 years so I've seen alot of tools.. The packageing is well done and protects item perfectly. Love the Click Arm Length Adjustment, Good weight, run very well and no hair pulling, feel good while holding, and quiet. Now these are perfect for home a side jobs for me. Cant say what every day constant use preformance will be as i dont intend to use them for that. Only negitave is I feel like the guards arent the best quailty and flimsy but I am particular when it comes to the guards I use HOWEVER, those guards fir theses perfectly so In the end...... The media could not be loaded. First let me start by saying these clippers really surprised me. They are great! When you first receive your package and open the box you will be greeted by the clippers looking up at you with the awesome slime green calling out to you. Once you lift the tray up you find all your guards (8 total) your small bottle of oil and a small cleaning brush. You will also find your awesome slime green charging base as well as a supplied charging cord. (Charging block is not included, you only get the cord so make sure you have a block to use it needs a 5v 1amp block for using the charging base and to also charge the clippers without the base. The power is rated at 10 watts and seams to be powerfull, my son has a head full of hair and it cut through with no issues and no bogging down. The battery seams great when I first received the clippers I did as the instructions say and charged them fully before the first use and I have cut my hair (#1) all around and my sons hair using no guard, 1/2 guard and #1 guard and battery still seams to have plenty of charge. They seams to be very durable and made with quality, the size is perfect for my hands and fits comfortably in my hand. I love that they a cordless making them extremely portable and really easy to use anywhere. I like that the taper lever clicks making it less likely that you move the lever adjusting the taper of the blade accidentally. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the purchase of my TPOB Slime 2 hair clippers. Contents include 1. The clippers. 2. Charging base and cord. (block not included) 3. Blade protector. 4. (8) guards. (A 1/16") light grey (B 3/16") dark grey (#1. 1/8") red (#2. 1/4") yellow (#3. 3/8") slime green (#4. 1/2") sky blue (#5. 5/8") pink (#6. 3/4") purple 5. Small cleaning brush. 6. Small bottle of lubricating oil. 7. Care/instruction pamphlet. So far after 2 uses definitely 5 stars.     • Goodbye Magic Clip?? TPOB has a classic of its own!

As a self-cutting barber, I’ve been using the Magic Clip for 4.5 years now and never thought I’d even consider another brand. I loved how effortless the fades were with the Magic Clip. The blade would get hot after a bit (especially in those latter blending the bottom stages where it’s sometimes a constant struggle to get rid of the line), but I didn’t think much of it since any barber I’ve ever gone to would basically touch my scalp with a branding iron clipper. Anyway, as luck would have it, my Magic Clip started to go (wouldn’t hold charge, motor issues, etc.) — even after all the cleaning procedures. In comes TPOB. A great set priced excellently with all the tools you need to get started. I charged everything per specs then got to work. Let me tell you: this Slime set is fantastic! The clipper blade stayed cool to the touch the entire haircut (usually takes me about 35-45 mins). The click mechanism is great as you’re adjusting so you know exactly where you are and will hear it if you accidentally flick the lever while cutting. The trimmer was able to cut through the remaining hair under the fade like a hot knife through butter! This thing didn’t sputter or falter once! I was previously using the Detailer and if I didn’t cut my hair first with the clipper, this thing would get stuck every other stroke. It was insane. But the TPOB trimmer? Not a problem! It also has a guard around the motor mechanism to prevent hair from really getting in there and causing damage. Lastly, the shaver is the tiniest little powerhouse I’ve ever seen! Fits right in the palm of your hand but gets the job done perfectly! This is a great set that feels well-made and durable and will last a bit. Each piece is made of a plastic body but they don’t feel like they will fall apart. For the clipper, the included guard attachments range from 1/2 up to 4 (6 total). The guards themselves are also plastic but seem durable as well. Definitely an easy to use, well-constructed set that will feel familiar to Magic Clip or Senior users. Let’s see what happens over time, but as of now I definitely recommend TPOB! ... show more

First cut complete. Positives: The cutting blade stays much cooler than the Wahl Pro Series I’ve been using for 12 months. Wireless is a nice benefit—cutting the cord make a difference. The 5 click positions to change the blade length is nice upgrade. Why? The Wahl pro series blade length position changes and floats as I use it and changes cutting length which sorta drives me nuts. Light weight, noticeably lighter than the corded Wahl, but similar motor power. After my first cut, my hair feels like the Slime 2 are more blades precise and sharper, my fade is cleaner and crisper cut. I will measure the volume (dB) of the motor but it is QUIET, which is welcomed. Opportunities: The guards are low quality, but Wahl premium guards fit, will use those in the future with the Slime 2. The polymer used for the casing is light but always is thinner than my Wahl and has me questioning how long the product will last long term. Would be nice to have a travel bag of sort. The TPOB Slime 2 is a good value based on its price point, the bright colors make it fun to have on my countertop and I’ll provide an update in 6 months. ... show more
