The media could not be loaded. Product came in two boxes, as expected and both arrived the same day. Only one board was a bit damaged but it is on the bottom of the unit and doesn’t show much. It took my husband and I about 3 hours to assemble. Directions were very clear and concise. This is VERY heavy, once assembled. Quality is excellent, door alignment was good and the drawers slide in and out, as expected. It didn’t come with directions on how to get the crystals into the fireplace (as we read in other reviews) but with the removal of the two screws on the front, it was super easy. We love how you can change the color of the crystals, and also the color of the flame and side (cabinet) lights. You can have just the light for ambient lighting or turn on the heat. Let’s talk about the heat…..our home is approx 2000 sq ft, open concept. It is 19 degrees here outside tonight and we have had the fireplace on for 2-3 hours. Our furnace has not kicked on at all and our thermostat says it is 74 degrees in here. ( it is set at 68) It’s beautiful, a great addition to our home and a very sturdy/heavy piece of furniture. I will add that in the video it looks like the cabinet lights are flickering, but they are not. It is just a flaw in the video quality. ... show more

This unit is phenomenal. It took me about three hours to assemble. Granted I had power tools and I strongly recommend you do as well. There are a LOT of screws and hardware to assemble. It came in two boxes. I wasn’t really looking forward to the assembly to be honest. I’ve had my fill of assembled furniture. This one really wasn’t too bad. Best to put all hardware bags into a large bowl and keep them all at your fingertips. Also assembling this while standing up with the drill and power screwdriver made it enormously easier and cut the time down considerably. It looks amazing when it’s all put together. The lights and the fireplace are exceptional. The different ambient colors are terrific. The remote works perfectly. Created just the vibe I was looking for. Great purchase and very well engineered equipment. Fits beautifully. ... show more

First, if you don't like assembling things, this is not for you. Yes, there are a ton of pieces and the instructions could have been a bit more detailed, but it was all extremely well packed and I followed it just fine. I was seriously concerned after seeing the huge, heavy boxes they came in, but I think half the weight was the packing materials. Now, there are a couple of points during assembly when having a second pair of hands is beneficial, like turning it right side up, otherwise one person could definitely assemble it. Make sure you have plenty of room. If fact, it's probably best to assemble it in the room you plan to put it in. As well, while it's still upside down, if you have any of those little adhesive felt floor slider/protector things, that's the time to put them. One last thing, you have to unscrew the glass from the fireplace to manually place the acrylic crystals, which must be done before you insert it into the console. All in all, I'm very pleased with the look, quality and sturdiness. As an added note, our soundbar fit well in the space above the fireplace, so if you have one, that may be of interest to you. Another thing, the instructions for the fireplace say not to use an extension cord, to use a dedicated outlet and not to plug anything else into that outlet. This could be an issue if you don't have many outlets. ... show more

Beautiful piece - well packaged for shipping. It did take my son-in-law 6 hours to assemble, but directions easy to follow. Only complaint was there was not nearly enough wood glue, but feel piece still sturdy. Love the ability to change colors of flame and crystal bed and side lights in bookcase to be different or the same - I knocked off a star in review as the drawers do no slide easily and after opening and closing one of the small drawers a few times it no longer lines up / I don’t plan on heavy use of the drawers so shouldn’t be an issue but they may need adjusting occasionally if you do ... show more

I am mechanically inclined and own all the tools necessary to build a house. However, reading that other people completed the assembly of this product within 2 hours is not true. It's not about strength or ego, it's about time. The number of panels, pieces, and attachments, must be close to 300 items. Unloading the two very large boxes that weigh one hundred pounds each will take at least an hour! I was able to assemble the entire TV stand by myself, but it casually took me 2 hours per day for about 3 days. With that said, I have a perfectly constructed TV stand without a single scratch or crooked drawer, which is important to me. I have hardwood floors so I was able to benefit by sticking 1" round felt sliders along the bottom during assembly. This enables me to "easily" push a two-hundred-pound piece of furniture with ease. I strongly recommend a power screwdriver that limits the torque so you don't blow through the pre-drilled holes. Yes, all of the panels are made from weak, composite wood, but when fully assembled properly the item is nearly a bulletproof beast. The heater works so well that if you hold your hand up the the vent within 6 inches, you will have 3rd degree burns within 5-10 seconds! Very dangerous if you have young kids. Fortunately, there is a built-in thermostat and timer for the heater that you can control. The lighting feature is fantastic. You can separately change the color and height of the flame, independent of the fake crystal rocks and side cabinet shelves. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase. If there is a downside, it's the amount of time and space needed to build this product. ... show more
