Okay I finally got the Ps5, I was at a big box store, casually walking down the isle when I looked down and noticed there was a brand new Ps5 sitting on the shelf! There was a golden halo around the Ps5 (in my mind lol)! I grabbed the Ps5 and went directly to checkout, almost feeling like the store had made a mistake because I hadn't seen one in a store since it was released almost 2 years ago! Upon getting home and connecting everything and migrating all my accounts I fired up the Ps5 and went to an open world game and to my surprise all the game chat comes out of the controller and there was no way to revert this back to the TV. This is a huge flaw for my new Ps5 and I really couldn't believe this was how Sony had decided to set this up. My search began on how to fix this issue, I came across a forum where people were speaking their displeasure with this issue. They found a work around and it's not the best but it works! Read below! Find an old pair of wired headphones and cut off the 3.5mm male input jack and plug it into the controller and in theory the voice chat should convert to your TV. I gave it a try and it WORKED! Not only did it work but I was still able to use the controller as my mic by toggling the mute button on the controller. I must admit I hate this 3.5mm jack sticking out of my controller but it works so until they fix this issue it is what it is. Okay on to the review of this charger! After doing the above mentioned work around for the chat I now have a 3.5mm jack sticking out of my controller and most Ps5 chargers charge the controller upright and this would mean I'd have to pull my 3.5mm jack every time I'd want to charge my controller. This simply wasn't going to work. My search had begun for a charger that would charge my controllers upside down and I came across this charger. The charger matches my Ps5 white color and looks great above it. I love that it shows red while the controller is charging and turns green once it's done. The rapid charge is great and charges my controller extremely fast. Best of all it charges the controller upside down so I do not need to take out my 3.5mm male jack every charge. Insert the USB C male dongel into the controller and it slips right into the charger port. For the price and ease of use you can't go wrong with this charger. Extremely happy with my purchase. I'm extremely happy that I put aside that hesitation and tried out the product. As someone who recently beat the battle of finally getting a base price PS5 (through Amazon, go figure) and wanting to accessorize it with the best gear, this is something I would recommend for those who are trying to do the same. The product is very simple to use and I can tell a lot of time was spent into making the product work the best way it can. I enjoy the mechanics involved with the charger making sure your controller is charging safely by detecting power levels and preventing overcharging. The "breathing" led is a nice feature that looks incredible next to the console. It had the same high end vibe as one would expect with a new generation console. I personally like that I can keep it plugged in and I can turn off the led light when I want. The usb c adapters were interesting at first but now I've gotten used to them and I'm thankful the charging dock has a place to store them. Overall I'm impressed with this item and excited to try other products from the same supplier if they are as good if not better than this charging dock. This ps5 controller charger is exactly what I wanted and needed and at such a low price. It charges both of my controllers quickly and efficiently. It's supposed to come with 4 type C dongles (2 extra) but mine only came with two. I contacted them and they immediately sent me the 2 missing dongles. So far, so good. ... show more

It charges. All pieces came included. It charges though when controller is at 75 Percent I think. It won't charge if it's above but still works.

Ovio really made it easier to charge my Dual Sense Controller. I expect that I will make better use of the dock once I get a second controller whenever Sony decides making an assortment of colors. Other than that I have nothing but good things to say about this charging dock. I love the future proofing that the usb-c port provides along.     • Simple PS5 controller charger
The product is simple to use. There are small adapters on the charger you can pull out and attach to your PS5 controller. The controller charges upside down with the adapter on the charger base. For me I saw it charge the controller in under 3 hours when not playing. It does the job and the color leds do show when the charge is complete. Just an FYI you do need to provide your own wall outlet connection. For me it was simple as I used one of my small iPhone usb wall outlet charger as it meets the 5V/1A requirement to charge. I connected the use cable from my PS5 to this and it charges both my controllers. Some thing other folks mentioned is you need to attach the dongle thingy to the controller every time. I just keep them attached to the control so when I need to charge I just sit the controller on the device and no attaching/de-attaching of dongle needed. Works well. ... show more
