  • Very Impressed!
Size: ender-3v2 neo
I am blown away by the Creality Ender-3 v2 neo 3D printer! This is our first 3D printer and I was initially concerned about the setup process. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was incredibly easy to level and set up. The printer produces great prints and has been in continuous use since it arrived. My 12-year-old daughter and I have been using it for our cosplay projects and the results have been phenomenal. The printer has exceeded our expectations in every way, from the ease of use to the quality of the prints. We are already planning on buying another one to expand our printing capabilities. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend the Creality Ender-3 v2 neo to anyone looking for a reliable and user-friendly 3D printer. This machine has truly been a game-changer for us and I cannot imagine going back to traditional methods of crafting. ... show more

  • Follow the four videos for a perfect installation
Size: ender-3v2 neo
The videos are provided way below the pic of the product on Amazon. I followed them to a "T". Pay attention to the leveling instructions. I have been pretty much non stop printing for the past 48 hours. The prints are beautiful, adhesion is perfect and I think it's primarily due to the BL Touch. When you have a perfectly leveled bed, everything pretty much falls into place. A very nice buy rating from me. ... show more

  • 1 YEAR REVIEW
After 1 year of moderate use, I can say it is a pretty good 3d printer for beginners. Straight from the box, the 3d printer came disassembled. After reading the manual and watching the creality video tutorial, it was ready to go after 1hr. The worst part of the experience was leveling the bed (in average it is a bad experience with most 3d printer), but it is a one time problem, after a year I barely needed to adjust the bed. I don't recommend testing your printer with the filament that came in the box, as it performs like garbage. I have no problem with the user interface, cura slicer, online documentation, or videos about this 3d printer. After a year, the only flaws I found were: -The extruder fan is a little bit noisy (easy to replace) -sometimes the printer doesn't recognize the micro SD card (using the stock firmware, probably could be fixed by updating) -heating element of the hot plate ain't sticking (could be fixed with some thermal tape) No problem regards the power supply, extruder, stepper motors, pulleys. I love the 3d printer and would totally recommend getting this one if you have the money. ... show more

  • This printer does not work properly! (Updated)
Size: ender-3v2 neo
Ordered this printer hoping for a good product but received a dud (out of the box). Any attempt to print anything (with any material) ends up with a mess of silly string on the print bed. I have tried multiple filaments with multiple settings. The result is the same, jumbled up string, no adhesion to the bed, and a very frustrated engineer... I have ensured the bed was leveled and the proper heat settings applied.. still all I get is a mess of filament. Will be returning... As an update to the review above: I found that the manufacturer shipped this model with the power supply switch set to (240v). When plugged into a 110 outlet, the machine will power on and work, BUT... will not reach temperature! Be sure you ensure the voltage selection switch is set to 110~120v (rookie mistake lol). Once the printer was running I was able to accomplish most prints that I hade attempted. Here are my thoughts: 1. Get the Z axis upgrade to improve gantry jitters during printing 2. Get the light bar attachment as it is very helpful to supervise your work. PETG does NOT print well! Many attempts to print with this material have been unsuccessful, despite settings. PLA and Flexible materials print very well. Overall, the printer does what it is supposed to do for a budget printer! ... show more

  • Frustration guaranteed - if you ever get it to print
FINAL update: I have figured out what was wrong! It turns out Creality doesn't really have QA as such. They just hope they work and ship them out. The first motherboard I received had FOUR parts that weren't soldered to the board. The replacement that I ordered used connectors that don't conduct properly, so were rarely making connection. I'm going to have to take it apart again, strip wires, and solder them to the motherboard to get it to work. But there is hope finally, after nearly 18 months. I've had this product for well over a week now. I'm very good at DIY stuff. I spent 2 days assembling the thing (had to disassemble and reassemble a few times) and was okay with that to make sure I had it correct. I've now spent almost 7 days trying to get the bed level and get a print and have yet to succeed. I've been on the Creality discord where some great folks have been helping me and nothing they've suggested has gotten it to work. If you are getting this for a first 3d printer, DO NOT GET IT. Save yourself the pain and get a preassembled printer. Yes it will cost more. You'll thank me. Two week update: Still doesn't work. I've discovered that even the stuff that was pre-assembled at the factor was done incorrectly. I'm having to rely on youtube videos to try and figure out how to correct their errors since there IS NO DOCUMENTATION at all. Oh yeah, the youtube videos I mentioned? They aren't for the revision of the printer that's shipping - so don't bet on anything matching up. Also, the printer out of the box DOES NOT PRINT PETG without damaging components. You need to buy upgrades for several pieces or trying to print PETG will melt them. This is a $80 repair, by the way. So far I've spent $300 for the printer, $40 for filament, and about $120 for parts to fix things that were either incorrect from the manufacturer or that I have broken due to lack of instructions. One month update: Still unable to get a print. It's always one thing wrong or another. I give up. I'm trashing the thing now. $500 that was a complete waste of time. 5 week update: I'll keep updating this review until I get the thing to work. So far have had to replace the hotend as it wasn't working right. Now the hotend I just bought won't heat up properly, so going to have to buy another one. This time I will NOT go with a Creality one. Aftermarket HAS to be better than this. 1 year update: I've now had this stupid piece of trash for 14 months. Still can't get it to work. Parts just randomly go out. It sat for a week between tries and randomly a heater went out. Again. Save yourself the grief, just buy something else. ... show more
