I give this set of hammers 5 stars for one simple reason. Three dead blow hammers for $18 is a price that you just cannot pass up, especially given these also come with a lifetime warranty. I must admit I purchased these to abuse, and they are great. I have even used the 1lb hammer to smack breaker bars, using the handle vs the head, and have had no issues. They have a solid hit and deliver with no bounce back. These are hammers, so I am unsure what to say regarding quality. The over molded plastic is cut out on the bottoms of the handle. Not a problem so far, but not sure why it was designed that way. I can see water and grease getting trapped in there in the future.

I had been wanting to invest in a Dead Blow Hammer but since I have been doing without one for decades, I decided that I didn't want to spend top dollar. So I went cheap and am glad I did. These hammers which I have used on several occations work well and suit my needs. With that said, I am not using these often enough to give you a report on how well they would be for a professional who may be using these on a daily basics. I bought these not expecting much and the only issue is I now I just want a bigger size. They have held up to a ton of use, things they probably weren’t intended for but that’s how things go in the shop. If you need smaller dead blows that are great quality, then look no further.

    • Great value for smallish range of urethane dead-blow hammers
A great value! These may not be as tough as a higher quality urethane but they are getting the job done and not chipping off that badly on the edges. The size range is from small to medium. The smallest is 1/2 pound with a 1-1/2" face. The medium-sized one is "one pound" and only an 1/8" bigger face. The largest is two pounds and almost 2" across. I liked these more than I thought I would. I bought them as a low cost dead blow hammer set to have in my tool box just in case. When they arrived and I put them in my box I was surprised. They had a good feel to them. The feel was so solid feeling I started to use them. I can’t believe how much I use them now. I think they are a very good dead blow set. They work great for me.
