  • Nice!
Nice for the money!

  • Good Enough
Looked hard for offset gauges to adjust some Honda passenger vehicles. For the range of sizes needed for those vehicles, these were good enough. It WOULD have been nice if the smaller sizes were accurate to better than .0003", since that required some hard thinking to pick the right leaves. The smallest leaf was off by .0005". If you buy these, you might want to invest in a 1" micrometer that reads in 10 thousandths of an inch, so you KNOW what size the leaf you are using really is. All that being said, you will pay a LOT more for more accurate feeler gauges, and it's not likely those 10 thousandths will make much of a difference in your engine. And if the set I received is any indicator, the gauges tend to be off on the big side, so you are not likely to adjust an exhaust valve too close. Good enough. Good value! ... show more

  • Helped Get My Car Running Reliably Again!
I bought these to adjust the valve lash on my 2008 Honda Fit that was stalling. The offset made a huge difference, when getting the gauges in at tight angles. I don't know how accurate these really are, but they are accurate enough to get my car up and running reliably again. Make sure you tighten the nut that holds the gauge assembly together. When using the gauges, the nut came loose and almost fell into my engine head (luckily I was able to retrieve it). ... show more

  • Fairly Nice Feeler Gauge
Fairly nice Gauge. As far as accuracy, I used a micrometer to check all the blades when the gauge arrived. Most of the blades are within 0.0001", however a few varied as much as 0.0005" which, for a feeler gauge for checking valve clearance, it is probably good enough. The blades are etched with their values, and the etching can be difficult to read on some blades, as the darkness/degree of etching is not consistent. Value for the money.... I think it is. The blades did not bend or deform when used to check valves, which is always a good thing. For the price, and for what I am using this gauge for, it works just fine and I am satisfied. ... show more

  • Perfect for Valve Adjustment
Used for 2005 Honda Pilot Valve lash Worked Great!

  • Works perfectly well for valve adjustments
Yes, the size of each guage is etched fairly faintly, but not to the point of this being truly hard to use. Decent lighting is all that's required. Slightly oiled, nothing extreme, they worked well, overall. Good value.

  • They did what they're supposed to do
They work well for adjusting the valves on my Honda VTX 1300.

  • They work well for DIY
They work well for DIY I was able to do the job with them. For occasional use these are okay. Not for professional use. I don't see the numbers on them lasting that long for somebody that uses them everyday or very often. There's already a small fading, but it's not appreciated very well on the photo. You can better appreciate how it looks close up on the photos I took. The one on the webpage does not help. ... show more
