Description

Measuring the size between two objects can be complicated, especially if they are very close together. However, you can get the job done quickly and easily with our bent feeler gauge set. Our spark plug gauge gap tool includes 12 heavy duty blades. To help you measure the space between two objects that are difficult to reach, these blades are designed with a 30-degree offset. Get this offset valve feeler gauge set and don’t risk bending other blades by trying to reach inside a tight area. These angled feeler gauge blades are also 4 inches long, which gives you reach while being compact and easy to use. This go no go feeler gauge kit includes both metric and SAE measurements clearly stamped one right under the other on each blade, so they are easy to see. The measurements on this SAE and mm feeler gauge set come in a wide range, starting at 0.008 inch (0.203 mm) and finishing at 0.26 inch (0.660 mm). No matter what you are measuring, our spark plug gap gauge set will have the right size you need. Because you use feelers in between tough automotive parts, they need to be durable enough to withstand the wear. Each of the blades within our valve clearance feeler gauge kit are composed of hardened and tempered steel, so you never have to worry about breaking them on the job. If you need to remove a certain size from this motorcycle feeler gauge, this can be done effortlessly. All you need to do is find the size you want and loosen the thumb notch on the go no go gauge to easily remove the blade. When measuring between two objects that are close together, you need this durable metal feeler gauge set. From the Manufacturer The OEM 25304 Value Tap Feeler Gauge 12BI features 12 offset 30 degree blades that are four inches long and measure .008-inch (.203mm) to .026-inch (.660mm). Each blade is laser etched with inches/mm. Hardened tempered steel blades. Blade protector with thumb notch to aid in easy removal.

  • excellent product
Style: 16 piece metric and SAE
I used these to double check the clearance of the nozzle of one of my FDM 3d printers. Great way to accurately measure that.

  • Just the trick for my guitar setups
Style: 26 piece metric and SAE
I've played guitar for several years now, and only in the past few months have I begun seriously working on guitar setup/repairs as a luthier. The one glaring problem I had as a budding enthusiast was that my tools weren't up to snuff (what average workbench setup has gauges designed to measure in thousandths?) After cringing at prices from LuthierSupply, StewMac, and the like, I stumbled onto this feeler gauge in my Amazon recommendations (thank you once again for reading my mind...though it is getting a bit creepy...) For under $5, it seemed like a safe bet to take a chance on, and I snapped one up immediately. Upon opening, the first thing I noticed was..oil. Be warned: The blades come packaged with some form of lubricant between them that I doubt most would want to spread on other surfaces (like the fretboard of your guitar for example). After wiping much of the excess off, I examined the actual tool: The blades themselves are very well made, easy to read, and are perfect for measuring everything from variances in fret heights (those that are impossible to gauge by eye) to pickup and string height (in order to setup action and neck relief). For those measurements exceeding 0.025"/0.635mm it's a simple matter to add adjacent blades in combination up to a total of 0.328"/8.332mm. This is made possible due to the fact that the first blade on the wheel is actually the .025"/.635mm, allowing gauges to be added progressively from the smallest value up. Perhaps this is obvious, but I did not see it mentioned in the item description, and it does increase its overall usefulness. Furthermore, the protective metal sleeve can be removed to separate the gauges for individual use by removing the thumb screw at the top (though I personally have yet to see the need to do so). And don't worry, I've yet to see any indication that the screw can fall off on its own and scatter tiny impossible-to-pick-off-the-floor-by-hand gauges everywhere. All in all, a great little tool that I suspect will serve me well for many years to come. ... show more

  • Inexpensive Tool For Valve Adjustments
Style: 16 piece metric and SAE
Used these for a valve adjustment and the bent gauges made the job a breeze. Overall good value for the money.

  • Good for the price as far as I can tell
Style: 26 piece metric and SAE
I bought these to help with diy guitar setups, and it looks like they’ll do the trick. Let me be honest though, I have never used feeler gauges before, so I really don’t know what a high quality feeler gauge set is like. Pros: -This set has everything I could possibly need, and then some. -Numbers are etched into the gauges -Measurements seem to be spot on. I measured many of the gauges with the Mitutoyo caliper I bought with my order, and they measured what they were supposed to. I can’t really comment on the thinnest ones, as they were too thin for my caliper to measure (it’s accurate to 0.05 millimeters), but I most likely won’t need them. -The holder and blades are held together by a nut and bolt, so they can be rearranged as needed. This could be bad as well though, as I list below. Cons: -The blades have some oil between them. Not a lot, but it’s worth mentioning. I ended up wiping it off enough to not get it on the guitar I was checking a measurement on while trying to separate the blades though. I did take a star off for that -The blades stick together due to the oil. Be careful with the thinnest ones, I almost bent them trying to separate them. -I could see the nut that holds these together possibly coming loose if they’re used a lot, and gauges going everywhere. ... show more

  • Oily, but a great tool
Style: 26 piece metric and SAE
Exactly what I needed for setting up my guitars. Good construction and very easy to use. Pros: Gets the job done, and the numbering is very big and easy to read on each feeler. Nice to have the little knob on it to tighten when you want to close it and keep it closed. Then you can simply loosen it to find the feeler that you need, then lock it back in place with a turn to use it. Solid all metal construction, seems to be something that will last, my only concern would be if the numbers ever faded. But they are in order, so if you have most of the numbers, you could figure out what's in between. Cons: As other viewers have said, there is some oil on each of the blades, which might be necessary. I don't think this thing is made of stainless steel, so a little lubrication is not a crazy idea here, but still, it will get on your hands when you use it. Conclusion: This is a great tool for setting up your guitar or whatever else you need. It has a lot of different-sized feelers and basically every increment from end to end is filled in and accounted for. I highly recommend this product, especially for the price. ... show more
