I had pickups with roll-up tonneau covers for 22 years, some of which cost three times what this one does. I for some reason switched to an SUV for four years but always missed having a truck. So when I recently traded my SUV in for another pickup (yesss, finally), my first accessory purchase was this tonneau cover. (Others were floor liners, side window vent shades, seat covers, and mud flaps.) I was a bit unsure of what I would receive at this price, but when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised. It had good weight to it when I picked up the box, and this is mostly due to the thickness of the vinyl. Some reviews have said it seems thin and cheap, but the one I received is as thick and solid as any of the more expensive covers I've owned over the years. Install was easy and the fit is perfect for my bed length. No tools required except the included hex wrench to attach the side rails to the front piece. The six clamps that hold the side rails on are made so that you don't have to worry about getting the whole thing centered right on your bed. When you slip them into the side rails and tighten them onto the bed rails on the truck, they force the side rails of the tonneau cover to be in the right place, centered and straight down the bed rails. The clamps hand-tighten via a plastic handle on each of them. Each side rail has a dense foam gasket on the bottom, and it comes with a thick piece of adhesive weatherstripping for the front rail of your truck bed. When installed and the tailgate is closed, the tailgate end of the tonneau cover has a good, flexible, solid-feeling gasket on it also to keep water out. The whole thing is nice and snug and tight and shows no sign so far of letting any rain into the bed. Unlike more expensive covers I've owned, which had a latch on both sides of the bed that had to be released to open the cover, this one has one loop right in the center that's right there when you open the tailgate. Give it an easy pull and it releases both sides at the same time. The velcro on the side rails comes pre-installed and is as heavy duty and the quality is as good as any of my other covers. It grips the velcro on the cover very well and won't let go unless you want it to. This cover looks and works great and I'm very happy with the purchase. I only had my truck for about three days before I installed it, so I can't speak to what it does for gas mileage, but there are YouTube videos where people have done tests with and without tonneau covers in place and have gotten anywhere from 1/2 to 1 1/2 miles per gallon improvement with the cover in place. I don't open and close my tonneau covers a lot because I don't need to, given the way I use my truck bed, but I see no reason this cover won't last for many years. It looks good and installation is simple enough. That being said. I’m not a fan of the clips I prefer the j hooks on most other tonneau covers, this one doesn’t come with a way to tighten it over time as it stretches, the clamps protrude farther out than any other cover I’ve installed, and lastly to latch correctly the rail has to be in just a bit and not lie flush with the bed rail. The light it comes with is just a cheapo $2 stick on light you pick up at harbor freight. But none of those issues are enough for me to hate it. I just wouldn’t purchase this one again. the bed cover is easy to install, and made to be stretched taut for a nice appearance. i did have to throw out the instructions to install it. i attached the side rails to the cover per the instructions. i then rolled the bed cover out and locked the back into the railings. i lined the entire thing up where i wanted it to be, and then eased the tailgate down not to move it. i then installed the rear clamp on each rail to keep it in place. the back of the cover where it locks into the rails has a kind of hinge piece to make sure the cover is pulled tight when locked in. i had to losen those slide adjustments on each rail and move them back and then lock the cover into the rails. i then pushed the slide adjustments all the way against their mating piece on the cover and tightened the bolts. this made putting the slide adjustments in the right place easier. to ensure the adjusters on the rails stayed put, because there will be quite a bit of force on them when locking the cover, i slid the rear clamp for the rails against the slide adjusters. i had to put the included weather stripping on the top of my tailgate to have the rear of the cover sill. this is not the fault of the cover, but because the top of my tailgate isn't flat. i also have to buy more weather stripping to go under the front of the cover at the bulkhead because my bed has a spray in liner with plastic top covers on the sides of the bed so the front of the cover doesn't sit on top of the bulkhead. again no fault of the cover, but the design of my truck. cheap easy solution so no complaints. ... show more

I purchased this bed cover 6/18/2023, and received it on 6/26/2023. Had worked well, and withstood a rough winter. Last week, we received about 5 inches of rain overnight. I came out to see that it had completely collapsed, bending the main frame. I emailed the company, and was told my warranty expired 6/18/2024. Fine. Didn't expect a free replacement, but they offered me a 10% discount if I purchased a new one from them. Sorry, but to offer such a ridiculous discount after this, only being two weeks after the warranty expired, I will never order from these guys again. Buyer Beware! I'll add that my buddy that referred me to them has had his for over two years, and rain rolls right off. ... show more
