Took the board to the lake the day after it came in. I was doing 360s and jumping wake in no time! This is a very fun board and the tow line hook works every time with out fail and allows me the time I need to secure the strap over my lap while in tow. Ricochet Kneeboard Order was placed on July 12 through. amazon seller iswakeboards.com Package arrived in good condition and delivered on july 19 as promised by the seller. board was shrink wrapped properly and had tip and tail protection via rubber bumpers. By all measures the item appears to be new. However not without major defects. The board overall appears to have overspray of some kind possibly due to lack of quality control or manufacturing standards that are unacceptable. The major concern is around the handle hook on the tip you can see dark lines where stress cracks have appeared or a breach in reinforcement which is a major concern. Lastly the The padding for the knees is substandard at best. The design and shape is completely wrong no way it can provide the rider with proper support. Once strapped in your knees don’t even touch the forward cups that are designed or not designed to cushion the knees. I have had multiple people strap into this board to see if it was somehow the shape and size of my legs however it does not conform to anybody’s legs and knees without much discomfort. This board has never seen the water and has not been used whatsoever by anybody since it’s been in my possession. I am 52 years old and have been knee boarding since I was in my early teens I have on several knee boards for example the black magic the original yellow banana board. The HO joker And one more that I cannot recall. With each board the evolution of construction and comfort has increased understandably so with new technology. This board is disappointing in every aspect I believe it was advertised as having the quality of O’Briens “flagship “ boards which I’m assuming is the Sozo. And if this is the quality and comfort they can be expected from the Sozo I am sure glad that I did not spend the $600 on that board. Here’s the problem I’m facing right now and that is that I don’t believe it’s the sellers fault for the concerns that I have about this board however it’s going to cost me nearly $100 to return it to them. I don’t know if this board is an exception to the quality standard of the ricochet and other boards like it. But I am completely disappointed and will not take this board out on the water. I’m hoping that O’Brien will contact me and that we can come to a solution to my concerns. ... show more

this board is perfect. The slick bottom of the board helps to glide on water with ease! The hook at the front is perfect for kids or beginners! We love this board!!

The second time we used this board the strap pulled out of the board. Quite a bit of money for a product that you used only 2 times.
