I've never been one to get spendy on a surf rope, I don't see the value in it, I mean the idea is to not be holding it too much. That said out of the 4 other ropes I've had over the last 6-7 summers this is my favorite. Quality is great compared to others at or below this price range, the rope is thick and allows a good grip if you are going to pull yourself in to the sweet spot. I got this rope as a backup in case my older ones break, but also to keep around as a shorter rope than our wakeboard one (which is 75 ft.). Overall, the quality is pretty on par with the name brand wakeboard ropes that I've used in the past and this comes with a nice carry bag to be able to keep the rope separate from others and tanging whenever we put it back inside the boat. Can't go wrong having extra ropes around, but just make sure it's the size you want as 25 ft. I think is relatively short, but it's for use whenever we want to wake surf and you're closer to the boat. ... show more

We finally got out on the water to test this rope out. It worked very well. We ended up taking a couple of the extra sections off it to make it better work for our boat and wave. It floated well, the handle was comfortable and the rope was certainly thicker than the other surf rope we have. Overall, I give it 4 stars because the blue isn’t easy to see on the water. It would be good if there was some brighter color in the rope or handle to make it easier to see. The mesh bag was a nice addition as was the Velcro rope cinch. ... show more

Got the new surf rope to replace my old rope which had several tears and needed to be replaced (different brand). This rope is perfect and a great value. It comes in sections which allows the user to make it shorter if wanted, as the 25ft is a little long for my style of riding but the option is always nice. The handle is padded and easy to grab, and the entire rope floats exactly as intended which makes it easy to grab when setting up to surf. I was at my local boat dealer picking up my boat and did some comparison shopping and this rope is a DEAL in value and the exact same quality. What else can be said. The handle is pretty comfortable. It's a standard wakesurf rope. It's a non name brand so the value may not be there for you if you need to sport the industry names on your equipment. It's about 25% cheaper in price that the name brand. I am happy with it though.
