This works really well and I like that when you close it it turns off so the batteries are going to last for a long time. I needed something like this that was accurate and fast- my old thermometers took a while to get to to temperature and this one is almost immediate. I had a hard time setting that temp I want, but it's very easy to read. It came with velcro circles that I have no idea what they are for Comes with a clip to attach to the pan, but I couldn't figure that out either.
