After using it for several months I found that it is not durable at all. When I place the blade on the cup and put it on the motor everything seems fine. Until I turn it on and then the rubber gasket in the blade lid often comes off and it makes a lot of noise. Often when I engage the motor it jerks and unscrews the blade lid making a huge mess. So I screw it on super tight to keep the washer and lid in place. Then I can’t get the lid off. I’ve had it with this bullet, and I’m shopping for a different brand. I use it everyday for a breakfast smoothie. I use a lot of ice. It handles it no problems. I love the stainless steel cup. I don’t think it helps to keep much colder than the other plastic cup, really. I do feel like it’s sturdier. I expect it to last 20 years like the one it replaced. Not a big fan of single purpose appliances but I'm loving this. Doesn't take up a lot of counter space and gets a nice smoothie done in a minute. Do my prep the night before and have breakfast done in a minute the next morning and out the door.

NutriBullet 1000 Watt PRIME Edition Review Upgrading from my trusty old 600-watt NutriBullet to this 1000-watt PRIME Edition, I expected a real powerhouse—and it’s definitely delivering! The extra power is noticeable right away; it blends everything so much faster and smoother than the old one. Frozen fruits, leafy greens, even nuts are no match for this thing. The 12-piece set is a nice bonus, too. I didn’t think I'd need all the extras, but I’m loving the convenience of the extra cups and lids. It’s also just as compact as the 600-watt model, so it doesn’t take up much counter space. That said, I’ll be extra careful not to drop it like my old one, which survived countless smoothies until a fateful four-foot fall. Here’s hoping this one lasts just as long without any airborne accidents! It's easy to clean and functional, practical and durable which is why I go NutriBullet every time. Absolutely essential for our motorhome kitchen! The NutriBullet 1000 Watt PRIME Edition has become our go-to appliance for whipping up smoothies, sauces, and even soups on the road. Its compact size is perfect for our limited space and the suction cups on the feet help it not move or fall off the countertop on our travel days. The stainless steel insulated cup keeps our drinks hot or cold for hours. I use Melaluca's GC Comtrol in my morning coffee and this NutriBullet is a game changer when mixing the powder into my coffee. A handheld battery powered whisk just couldn't get out the clumps and make a smooooth drink like the NutriBullet does. I also use the NutriBullet for creating smoothies and the flip top lids are amazing! We use our NutriBullet at least once or twice a day. Tips: Don't overfill the cup prior to blending. Pay attention to the fill line. Make sure you have ample fluid in the cup prior to blending. I highly recommend this NutriBullet for any mobile kitchen! ... show more

This particular model is so easy to operate. Blending begins with ease when locking in the tumbler to blade assembly. No need to press down on tumbler while blending. Clean tumblers with care trying not to scratch plastic. You MUST remove/clean rubber gaskets in blade assembly after use. Liquids sneak underneath. Remove, clean well and air dry = no bacterial debris left behind. Putting gaskets back into assembly gets easier with practice. Use thumb, index and middle fingers on both hands.
