The media could not be loaded. I was a little hesitant at first because I did not see any reviews from people using them in their pools. But I did a some searching and felt safe because everything, including the power supply is water resistant so I went with these. Take note that these lights do NOT come with any adhesive tape, so if you want to use that in your application then you have to purchase a roll in addition to this set. I ordered the tape, but found it was not needed because supplied in the kit is more than generous amount of zip ties and screw in mounting brackets. It even comes with end caps and silicone adhesive if you need to cut the lights (as I had to). Installation was pretty easy. You can see in my video that the lights do not illuminate the entire pool, but I believe that is because of how I installed them. I have a 27' round. If i mounted the lights facing towards the center of the pool, it may have lit the entire thing. But then you would be able to see the lights and possibly even get blinded by them. I mounted mine facing downward and under the top rail so they are 100% hidden. I absolutely love how these came out and I think it looks awesome! Throws plenty of light in my opinion. In the video, the changing colors provides a nice calming effect The one con I have is with the remote. It is only Bluetooth and with limited range. Same goes with the app. The app however gives more color choices and pattern choices. New pool, deck and heater. All that's left is the landscaper and I'm done. The lights add a huge dramatic effect! Only time will tell how these hold up, but as of right now, I highly recommend these lights. Especially if you're looking to do the same thing i did. ... show more

The light is really easy to install and it’s really bright . The app is really basic to navigate. There’s NO running light feature or multiple colors at once. It will only display a single color at a time.

I installed these on the front of my house, had to remove them after being up for a year due to reinstalling siding. half the lights don't work for Blue but still work. App is not great, it worked initially but after not using it and going back into it, it doesn't keep my settings of auto on and off. The light strip is well made, great brightness, music sync and colors….. BUT…. After only a few weeks the lights just stopped working!!! I contacted the company and sent the necessary info they requested and I have not heard back from them.

The media could not be loaded. Used these lights around my inground pool and they look fantastic. I mounted them to the tiles with 3m waterproof mounting brackets. The brackets included require each one to be screwed to the surface and if using around pool application that is not an option. After several months since installed I am having no problems with the lights. The strips themselves are not very noticeable during the day as they are clear with white backing. Many functions and colors with ability to dim lights. Highly recommend if you want to give your pool a custom expensive look without paying high prices. This is a perfect product at an affordable price. Update: I have these lights also ran under the eaves in back of house. What is nice is threw the app you can sync everything together. Also wanted to point out that S. Florida got heavy rains ands therefore the pool water was overflowing fully submerged underwater for a few days. Once the water receded, I plugged lights in and they work fine so they are truly waterproof, although I would not recommend installing them underwater. I placed a clip every 12 inches yo keep lights tight avoiding a saggy messy look. Since I installed I barely use underwater pool light. These lights are adequate enough to light he pool. ... show more

    • Hard to connect after splicing.

The lights are fine but are very difficult to splice because the copper cut points do not align with any available connectors. I have to remove the waterproofing cover on the light strip to be able to use connectors but also have to bend the two outward pins in the connectors inward in order for them to make contact with the RBG pads in the wire. It seems the pads are too close together. I’ve tried several types of connectors - all have the same issues with the light strip. ... show more
