Description

One of the most appealing aspects of small mirrorless cameras like the Sony NEX-3 and NEX-5 is the availability of a wide range of interchangeable lenses, including non-Sony lenses. This Novoflex Adapter for M 42 Lens to Sony NEX Camera makes it possible to mount an M 42 lens to your NEX-3 or NEX-5 camera with a precision mechanical adapter. Such an adapter does not transfer functions from the camera to the lens, such as auto focus, but automatic exposure metering (stop-down metering/aperture priority) is possible. The lens will focus to infinity using this adapter.

Style: Canon EF Body
So far, all Novoflex adapters I have bought are extremely well made and work flawlessly to match you old or way out lens to a modern body. This adapts all of the zillions of old m-42 pentax screw mount lenses or microscope adapters to a modern EOS body. They only work manually, but some are deliciously quirky or have features not available in the standard EOS line. So, if you have a new body and an old lens, check out Novoflex, and don't throw away the old glass. ... show more

Should be $50-60. But this is your only option if you want an adapter that fits like a factory mount. I've been using it on my Helios 40-2, with zero movement.
