The YKEAUS lens RF-EF adapter appears to be a cost-effective alternative to the Canon adapter. It has been positively reviewed by professional photographers and hobbyists alike for its compatibility with multiple Canon models and a range of EF lenses. The adapter's performance seems to match that of its Canon counterpart, showing no significant differences in terms of image quality, build quality, and autofocus speed.

  • đź’° More affordable than the Canon adapter.
  • 🔄 Compatible with a variety of Canon models and EF lenses.
  • 🌦️ Reported to be weather-sealed and durable.

Should I Buy It?

Yes, the YKEAUS lens RF-EF adapter seems to be an excellent purchase based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews. If you're seeking an affordable, quality adapter for your Canon, this seems to be a reasonable choice. You can expect a product with comparable functionality and build quality to the Canon adapter, at a fraction of the price.

  • Very nice and does its job
The adapter is very nice quality and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. My EFS lens snapped right in there and power from the adapter. Everything feels like metal and it has a nice texture too.

  • Great Piece PIece of Kit!
This adapter does what it supposed to do. My EF lenses, large and small, fit perfectly using the adapter and all of the camera functions work flawlessly. Why did I give it 4-stars instead of 5? Here's why: Even though the adapter is not at fault, if Canon would get on board and significantly lower the prices of their RF lenses AND allow 3rd parties to make affordable lenses, then many of us would not need this adapter--for now, the better RF lenses are simply unaffordable for a great many Canon camera users. • I ordered this adapter and I am sure it is compatible with my camera.
I ask experienced users to confirm that this adapter works with my camera Canon EOS R 100 P.S. I am happy to confirm that this adapter fits the lens perfectly. We can see how much more light flows through the new lens than through the lens that came with the camera.

  • A great alternative at a great price
The YKEASU ef to ef lens adapter is an absolute work horse for the price you pay, it fits perfectly on the RF body with only slight resistance towards the locked in position for lenses. It seamlessly identifies my EF 18-135mm lens and focuses and zooms in and out perfectly, while I haven’t tried it in any intense situations to test its weather sealed abilities I will update when I do try it out. There’s not play in the adapter which I know is a common complaint when it comes to other ef to RF adapters but this stays perfectly in place with no play. The only complaint i have which isn’t a major one is the lack of a thread adapter or some kind of mount to allow a tripod to thread into the bottom like other adapters do, but honestly it’s not a huge thing since I mainly shoot by hand but it would be nice to see them implement that into another version if they decide to do one. But I’m all honesty This adapter is a great alternative to the canon one and makes it an essential item in photographers tool kits. ... show more

  • Parasitic Battery Draw with Canon R6
This is a decent alternative to the Canon EF to RF brand adapter. However, for months, I could not figure out why my Canon R6 battery would drain after the camera is turned off. For example, I complete a photoshoot with 80% battery left and turn off the camera. 24 hours later, I turn on my camera and the battery is nearly half depleted in the 40% range. Ultimately, troubleshooting determined that this EF to R adapter was the culprit and when there's an EF lens on the adapter, the adapter is drawing power from the camera, even when the camera is turned off. I purchased a legitimate Canon EF to R adapter and this is not an issue. The parasitic battery drain only occurs with this adapter, so I assume I have a faulty adapter here. The adapter is still usable and there's no issue with AF from the lenses, just the issue with the battery drain. There are ways to combat this issue alternatively by either removing the adapter when not using the camera for a photoshoot or removing the battery when not shooting. Removing the battery is the quickest option in my opinion. ... show more
