I'd purchased 2L of the Nova3D standard resin in transparent blue for use with a Phrozen Shuffle. Have gone through about 750mL so far. Detail is amazing... I feel like this will outperform most printers it's used in. Attached one image of the Rook test print everyone's seen everywhere, printed at 50um layer height, 80s/8s cure time. Note the ruler for scale, and that the text on the top ring of the rook is perfectly legible. You can barely see it in person. This stuff is tough, at least as far as I've seen. Survives high temperatures well enough (250F/120C, close to ABS), and is extremely hard but doesn't seem too brittle. You may want to be careful with thin (<0.5mm) unsupported walls but otherwise it's been great for functional mechanical prints. Surface finish ends up being a soft matte blue after cleaning. I've been using Jasco denatured alcohol (ethanol, from Lowes, it's cheap) and have had no issues. Feels reminiscent of polycarbonate for some reason. All the paint I've tried has stuck great (pictured is a curtain rod fiducual print w/ Rustoleum hammered metal), and you can coat it in a clear lacquer (polyeurethane, nail polish, etc) to bring back the glass-like finish. As others have noted in their reviews, it is important to know right away that this is not a resin for direct casting and burnout. What it IS however is an excellent high detail resin for making masters. This resin picks up excellent details and sharp edges while still somehow having a soft feel and a little bit of flex to it. It sands and files very easily making post processing a snap If you're making silicone mold for wax injections, this is a great place to start. You need a good master to produce a good mold and this makes a good master easy to do. I did have to tweak my settings a bit from the manufacturers recommendations, but I like thin lines and crisp edges and I am also not using the Nova3D Elfin that they wrote them for. On my Voxelab Polaris, I had a little bit of difficulty getting thin sections to hold together unless I upped my exposure time. The ring in my picture is a size 6, to get the lettering to come out correctly required 10s exposures. 50um Layers Base layers 6 Bottom exposure time 50s Normal Exposure time 8s (small areas may require more exposure or they can separate) ... show more

This Resin worked perfectly for me. I absolutely love the blue being much more rich and deeper in color than most other blue resins. I printed this panther on a QIDI TECH Shadow 5.5 S 3D Printer, using support settings from "3D Printing Pro"...go check out his YouTube channel. This was my first print using this resin. I used Chitubox to slice the model. The settings I used are indicated in my uploaded photos. I did slow down the lift speed (40mm/min.) in an attempt to decrease shear force on my FEP, especially through the mid-section of the panther body, as I did not hollow it out. As you can see, everything to include supports printed perfectly. I was somewhat concerned for a while, as I did not hear the typical "peeling" sound that indicates the print is still intact. But all was more than well. I don't know if that was due to the resin itself or the slow down in lift speed. Either way, I'm sure my FEP is thanking me. haha In case you can't see the settings photo, here are the settings: Exposure Time 8s, Lift Distance 5mm, Lift Speed 40mm/min, Bottom Exposure Time 60s, Layer Height 0.050 mm, Retract Speed 150 mm/min. I truly could not be more impressed with this resin - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. The orange color is great for my purposes and it's water-washable so I don't have to use the intense 90+% Isopropyl Alcohol, which is often hard to come by. If you're living that IPA lifestyle, you can now stop because this resin is the ANSWER!! I use PTFE oil on my FEP film on all prints now as well and it works beautifully with this resin as well. Literally I've had ZERO failed prints on my Elegoo Mars 2 Pro and slicing in Chitubox using the settings shown in the last two images. Don't think twice - this resin is FABULOUS. ... show more

This is probably my favorite resin! It produces high quality parts with low effort. The blue is a beautiful, deep, rich color that looks great! I'm on my second bottle! The only failed prints I've had were my own fault (bad supports). The company also provides great customer service, I emailed them asking for the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and they emailed it to me the same day.
