My cat loved the little sleeping bunks but they are small for her size. I wish each tier level had more room for the cats to jump up and down on. Hazel struggles but doesn't give up. I didn't even have it all together, and she was playing on it and sleeping. Easy to put together, but due to the height, it will need to be screwed into the wall, which isn't something I really wanted to do. But due to it being top heavy it needs to be tied. I mean… it’s $25. It’s not gonna be completely sturdy. I have a 14lb cat and she literally lives on the top platforms. I’ve wanted one forever and I’m glad I got it. For the money, it’s really good quality. Just make sure you tighten the heck out of the screws. I recommend using an allen key instead of the wrench they give you. ... show more

As I began taking the parts from the relatively small box (I was surprised how small), the cats were already playing and rolling on the parts. Good sign. The directions are printed in a very small size, on one sheet of 8.5 x11 paper, so if you may need your glasses. Once assembled, the cats could not leave it alone. Our cats are 8 months old, with no shortage of energy. As they leapt onto the tree, it definitely wobbled, since it is rather tall. So, we set it up next to a couch and it has been fine. Assembly was easy - I had to make some tweaks to the final product so the cats could have jumping and landing points all the way up. The platform areas were a bit narrow for cats to stand or sit on as it was. I must of not read the measurements clearly because the cubbies are rather short and small. My 23lb cat managed to squeeze himself into the higher, larger cubby..barely. The back half of him can sit on the top round piece and have the other braced against the second highest one. My smaller cat has yet to try it after being all over it while putting it together, but I don’t see her 12lb self fitting. Overall - this is a tree for smoll cats, not the chonks or larger framed cats like Maine coons. The base seems a little unstable and I may end up anchoring it in the corner it’s currently in. After reading reviews I hesitated to purchase this because some said it was flimsy and some said it was difficult to put together. For the price I figured I’d give it a shot. I found neither of those reviews to be true for me. I assembled it by myself (with the supervision of my two cats) in about 45 minutes. The only reason I spent a little extra time: for some reason I ended up with an extra screw. I searched the whole thing and couldn’t find where I was missing a screw so I guess it’s just an extra part. I like that it comes with a strap and screw to anchor to the wall. I have not yet installed that as I am not firmly decided on the tower’s location. Since I don’t have small children around I’m not too worried about getting it anchored immediately but I am very thankful it is included. The instructions had images that made it easy for me to follow. All parts were labeled. For the price I paid I’m considering buying a second one but not sure where I’d put it. 😅😅 The “carpet” part is thin and I expect it to shed as my cats scratch on it. I expect shedding of any carpet though so I’m happy with the quality even if it is a little cheaper. My color choice was based on price. I picked the cheapest which happens to closely match my grey couch. All in all I’m very satisfied. As time goes on if my opinion changes I’ll update here. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. TL;DR: Pros: -pretty cheap for a cat tree! Good size and features considering the price point. -my cats loved this tree right away, even more than their last one which they had for years -topple-prevention strap helps with stability -nice material, very cozy and pleasing Cons: -Smaller than expected, but my cats love it so all is well -wobbly pillars bang against the wall when cats are moving excessively, e.g., play fighting -topple-prevention strap requires you to attach by putting a screw into your wall -screws are unlabeled in bag. Figure it out! a screws: main screw you will use, the majority of the screws are this type b screws: double-sided long screws for connecting certain pieces together c screw: a single screw between the size of the a screws and d screws. I didn't find it super necessary d screws: the pair of short little screws I was a little worried at first, I have a bit of a chonky cat and the size of the tree was definitely a little smaller than expected. My last cat tree was pretty big and tall, but all my cats did with it was scratch on it and sleep on it. It had a box hidey hole like this one, rope toys to bat at, but my cats didn't seem interested. Surprisingly, my cats love this tree! They went straight into the hidey hole, and are playing with the dangling toys. Size isn't a problem at all! I appreciate the topple-prevention strap included but I'm not utilizing it as I don't feel like putting a hole in my wall for this, but if I did I definitely would feel more assured about it being secure. The pillars can be wobbly when the cats jump on it, but from my experience with my last tree that's pretty normal and it doesn't bother my cats at all. Although, when my cats are moving around it can bang against the wall which can get kind of annoying. Assembly was both pretty easy but also a nuisance. The screws aren't labeled and it took me a minute to figure it out, but basically the most abundant screws and the main ones you'll be using are the a's, the double-sides long screws are b's, the singular medium screw is c, and the two tiny screws are d's. The single c screw is used for the small bottom hidey hole, but it feels a little useless because it doesn't actually screw into the piece effectively but it at least holds it in place while you get the other pieces assembled. I'm kind of just relying on those to keep it secure. Once I got those screws figured out, everything else fell into place. I only had to pull up the product listing once to get a good look of the tree put together to make sure I was lining the pillars up correctly. ... show more
