    • Pleasantly surprised at quality at this price
I had a similar system from BOSE and loved the sound quality and ease of use. After many years it finally broke and I looked for the same model from BOSE. They do sell it but the price was $600 or more. I decided to give this Wiscent model a try and it is right up there with BOSE for quality of sound. I would highly recommend this for a compact system and plan to get another one as a gift…or NOT, I might keep it for my office as music always bring joy to my heart and soul. The media could not be loaded. Enjoying it immensely easy to operate and has a very sleek. Attractive look period my only reason for giving it a 4 is that I really wanted one that would allow me to stack multiple CD's and not have to keep getting up and changing them, but I could not find one that I was either willing to spend the money for or that appealed to me aesthetically, so I settled for this one, and I'm extremely happy with my choice.     • Great sound being FM radio or CD disk.
The vintage look of the radio matched by a great sound. I listen to mostly classical chamber music and I am impressed by a rich and dimensional sound. Very pleased.

The media could not be loaded. As you can see in the video, static constantly. What's even worse is volume goes to 0 when playing music. This happened with music CD and FM radio. I thought it was off but it goes mute randomly and each single time. This is piece of junk radio.

This radio looks great, is well built, has good features and good reception, but the sound quality is what you would expect for the price. If sound quality is your primary concern, then double or triple your bottom line. For background music or talk radio, it is a great option. My only issue is the controls for the added features .... not intuitive. Eventually I broke down, swallowed my pride and had to read the instructions.
