    • Good set of cables to keep in the car!
The cables themselves seem really good and thick. Should be able to jump start well once we start getting cold. The clamps are not really that great but will do the job. The rubber grips don't feel like they are holding on well and the clamps themselves looks like they were just cut/bent and thrown on the cables. This was the reason for knocking off a star. With how much current these deal with I would like grips that I feel safe with. As long as they get through a couple snow seasons they will be great but time will tell on that. Also the other reason I like to keep cables in the car. Supposedly if you clamp them on a 2 rail train track it will activate the light farther down so trains coming will think there is a train on the rail. Never actually had a chance to verify it but with how many trains we have in the area good thing to know in case someone or myself gets stuck on a track. ... show more

Works for most small to medium size vehicles. Description say it's 10 gauge wire but it feels a bit bigger than 10 gauge, maybe 8. The length of the cable (clamps to clamp) is about 10 feet long (3.04 meters). The clamps appears to be punched and formed from copper plates. The spring tension is ok, nothing heavy duty. But I'm sure it would get hot if you're trying to jump one of the big 3 diesel engines. Currently hooked up to two Group 31 AGM batteries to keep them charge up when not in use. ... show more

Gonna throw these in the new car so they’re there if we need them. I keep the good ones in my truck for most instances but these are fine as a backup. Better to be prepared. Clamps seem fine. Are they lower gauge wire than some, sure, do I wish they were longer, of course but they’re fine for a backup. ... show more

I ordered these jumper cables to keep in my Honda car and I have used them once and they worked fine. These are only 10 gauge and kind of cheap but they do work great for small cars etc.. if you have something like an RV or Diesel Truck then you will need the large gauge cables.

The black cable has "10GA." printed on it repeatedly. The wires are rather thin for jumper cables but these will do for short distances in a pinch. The cables are very flexible and easy to coil up for storage. Since these are very basic, with no reverse polarity protection or other electronics and just battery clamps at both ends they can also be used for various projects that just need some cables, like connecting a battery to an inverter. While nowdays you can get a battery bank that will jump start a car, they're a LOT more expensive than these basic jumper cables and you'll need to remember to keep it charged and the batteries have a finite lifespan, while a simple pair of copper cables like this will last a long time and will never be 'dead' when you need them (so long as there is someone else around with a working car to jumpstart from). I was happy enough with the construction and quality of these basic cables and their clamps that if I wanted a longer or thicker set of jumper cables I'd be happy to order a NOONE product, besides that brand name is just classic, much better than some of the names I see on Amazon that look like someone threw together a series of random letters that you couldn't pronounce if you tried. They could use a humorous slogan like "No one dislikes NOONE!" ... show more
