Rock solid, looks mean and clean, chokes the terminal post like it owes it money, and bites heavy gauge wire like it has TMJ. Easy to install, performs just as you would hope. A bit pricier than I thought something like this would be, but the quality justifies it.

I like this because it could move the post to left or right side of the block. you can mount the post up or down. it is a heavy solid block. I used it on my 2022 4runner

This should be a 5 star product, and it would be with a simple change that is already in one of the product photos, but the clamp onto the battery leaves a lot to be desired. It first uses a tiny M5 screw with a poorly machined T20 torx head. I've tried 5 brand new T20 bits and the screws all have play when tightening or loosening them and on the main clamping screw specifically, this makes it super easy to strip out. The other major issues with this clamping style is that it requires the terminal to be tightened from the side and not from the top. This presents a legitimate safety issue since you run the risk of grounding a driver while trying to tighten this. The battery holddown bolts on my vehicle are grounded and well within reach of a normal size driver while tightening. This makes it easy to ground from the positive terminal to the battery clamp with no fuse in the middle which is super dangerous. It also makes it impossible to tighten in tight engine compartments, which is basically all modern cars, and as others have pointed out, some batteries have recessed terminals which this will be impossible to use with. On the product page, there is an image of a version with a traditional machine bolt and nut which would solve this issue, but unfortunately this is not the product you will receive. Beyond that, this is an awesome product, it is just one solid chunk of brass which should work exceptionally well, it's just a shame they decided to use such a bad clamp design, especially when they have a picture of the fix... ... show more

    • Great, except for the T screws and not easy 0 gauge inputs
This should be the the absolute best battery terminal, except it has difficult to use T screws that should be another cm longer and I was not anole to fit my 0 gauge in the terminals and had to use a reducer. Otherwise this seems like it’s got more than enough options for connecting and allows original factory wiring to be easy connected with the post included ... show more

    • Not worth the money
This thing is too bulky, does not work well on recessed. Top post battery’s screws are cheaply, made, and strip easily. And does not fit on battery post even with shim very loose sloppy connection not worth the money.

The media could not be loaded. If you plan on running 0 that's this makes install and temporary disconnect a dream. My Foresters factory terminal wouldnt be ideal to run a eyelet terminal off. Use a 0 to 4 adapter drop of locktite wrap it in electrical tape to stiffen it up. It comes with two post adapters there's no reason you can't make this work you might have to make a tool work for you like in the photo Going to order a second for the negative to do a second battery and Big3. If the terminal is loose do not use the aluminum shim go get some lead flatten it and use that. ... show more

    • Can't clamp tight enough
I needed a terminal to add large wire accessories, and still retain the stock battery cables. This looked like the perfect item. Looks well made, but the clamping screws for the battery post, are too small, and strip out, and will not tighten enough to grip the battery post, even when using the supplied shims. The problem is, battery posts are tapered, and this terminal is not tapered, and too rigid too conform to the post. I thought I had found the perfect terminal, but now I have 2 useless chunks of metal ... show more
