For the price of this metal detector, the buyer is getting superior quality. Nokta is a well-known company and they have developed a wonderfully-priced machine for a beginner. Very durable construction, ease of assembly, and super easy to learn to use. After unboxing the metal detector, I was digging targets in 10 minutes. I bought three of these to keep at our vacation condo. They work as well as the Nokta Simplex+ that I have had for about 2 years. Good deep detection (2 feet or so) and finds everything very well. The headphones that come with it are garbage, and the digger tends to bend, so not quite thick enough metal, but the detector is great. ... show more

It's pretty good for the price... if you have the extra money opt for the FindX PRO because it is waterproof and has the ability to use a smaller coil. This is a good starter machine and beats a lot of the off-brand detectors on the market.

great price for a great detector. I have the FINDX PRO and am an experienced detectorist with other Nokta detectors. the FINDX PRO will perform at top level and be easy to use. I've written a couple of reviews on other sites. It is hard to come by as they fly off the shelf.

the detector is VERY easy to use. Just turn it on and go! Very light, but it only detects about 4 inches. Any decent detector should get at least about 10 inches. Probably good for finding recently dropped change, but nothing of any depth. I am adding that Nokta has reached out to me to try and make this right. I am going to keep the machine as it will still function in a role that I intended and I will probably upgrade at a later time to a better Nokta detector. My opinion is that any company willing to go the extra mile for customer satisfaction is surely worth a second chance! ... show more
