Just received it and assembled it in no time. It looks great and will do a perfect job as desk in the guest room. I was very positively surprised by: - The quality of the packaging. It shows the company is proud of their product and wants to eliminate issues caused by bad handling. We are talking about thick carton box, a lots of extra protections inside. Very rare to see this nowadays! - The finish looks impeccable. It even looks nicer in person than in the pictures. - The assembly was very easy, and all holes align nicely. I saw reviews complaining about assembly; it went like a charm for us. The desk has just been assembled, and I will post an update if anything happens. But I wanted to give my first impression and kudos to the company for a nice design, a very well executed product and good packaging! ... show more

*update May 2022 Still a great little desk. I use it almost daily and very happy. Totally worth the price.* Great little desk. I'm WFH and my smaller writing desk just wasn't cutting it anymore. I ordered the 46" size and it is plenty of room for what I need. I could tell that it was not the first time the box had been opened as everything was was oddly wrapped with no real protection. I looked at everything before I put it together and I didn't find any scratches or other issues. I really like that it is solid wood and not veneer. It was very easy to put together and they provided a couple extra screws. A few other reviewers mentioned the thinner screws used for the braces tend to strip out and I ran into the same issue. I guess I'm just too strong? ;-) The stickers they use to label the parts are a bugger to get off, even with a sticker remover. Another thing to note is the drawers are tiny! I mean, only 1.75 inches tall. It was hard to find drawer organizers that would fit as most are 1.8-2.5 inches. I did find some that were only 1 inch tall and they fit. (Three by Three Seattle Drawer Organizer 1" Set of 5). Other reviewers called out drawers arriving broken, or broke within a month. I have not had that issue yet, but will update my review if it happens. ... show more

The table arrived pretty fast which is a plus. It's overall a good-looking table, but there are a few setbacks. First of all, it was a bit annoying to assemble it because several screw holes didn't match each other and I had to spend a lot of time and power to inset the screw and make it work in the end. I don't know if above is the reason, but in the end after assembly the table came out not as sturdy as I would hope for. It shakes from side to side, especially when you write on it. It's annoying. Also drawers are not aligned equally. It's not a major issue, but for a perfectionist like me, it bothers me. Overall the table is ok, it's not amazing, but it works for the time being. ... show more

I use this writing desk as a computer table. It is precisely the right size to use in my small room. It is definitely of a higher quality than the three other writing desks I have purchased in this price range! It is very sturdy. Also, I lean against the front edge of the desk when I use it. All three of the others had sharp edges that hurt my forearms after a little while. The edges of this writing desk are rounded enough that they do not hurt no matter how long I lean against the front edge while using it. Finally, it looks rather nice. It came with instructions about how to clean and maintain it to keep it looking that way. I am very happy that I purchased this particular writing desk. NOTE: To be sturdy, it does require that the legs be flush, with no gap at all, against the side panels when the legs are attached during assembly. This was very easy to do on one side, but took some careful adjusting to get done correctly on the other side. When tightening the bolts while attaching a leg, all three bolts had to be kept close to the same depth as they were being tightened down to ensure that the leg attached correctly and that the leg ended up flush against the side panel once the bolts were completely tightened. ... show more

I was looking for a minimalist desk to go between 2 windows. I didn't want a heavy footprint desk. This desk fit the bill. After about 3 months, the bamboo started to crack on the top of the desk, from both sides. I contacted the company directly, sent them the order confirmation from Amazon along with pictures of the cracks, and within 1 week I had a brand new desk shipped to me. I always grew up believing "it's not what happens to you but how you deal with it." I know sometimes products fail, so I was very grateful that this company dealt with an issue professionally and stood behind their 1 year warranty. Thank you. ... show more
