I was in need of a new blender and always heard good things about the Ninja brand. This is small and compact so doesn’t take up a lot of room and I like that it comes with multiple bottles and lids. My one complaint is that you have to hold the bottle down while it mixes, there is no locking feature (atleast I haven’t been able to find one). The Ninja Nutri-Blender Plus is easy to use and to clean. I make a lot of smoothies, some of which include protein powders, fresh or frozen fruits or ice. I enjoy having the travel lid and the pop-up lids for drinking while I’m in the car or at work. Everything is sturdy and dependable. I like it and it works really well. You do have to make sure that you've the blades lid completely screwed on so that there's not a single thread that's a little bit cockeyed. Unless it's screwed on perfectly, it won't work. I got the model with the 900 W and it blends very well. I've read other complaints about it being difficult to clean but if you empty the shake or your smoothie out into one of the other containers or into your glass to drink, and then rinse it out and rinse out the blade lid, then fill it about 2/3 of the way with water and one to two drops of dishwashing liquid screw the lid on securely put it on the base and whiz it around for a little bit just a few seconds. It will come clean unless you've got a really thick gunky mess in there which I've never had. ... show more
