I needed small labels with small lettering but clear and easy to read. I had good luck with a different Nimbo printer for something different and took a chance on this one because of my past experience. (Before you ask..the other Nimbo printer doesn't print the size I needed.) It is stupendously easy to set up and the software is very straight forward. I bought this not really knowing anything about label printing and so was a little afraid I would get something that was a headache to use and generally underwhelming. That said, this thing has been awesome. Super easy to use with my iPhone with the app (I haven't tried with android) and works brilliantly. I've only used the Niimbot brand (?) paper which it does seem to detect so if you get some non-compatible paper I'm not sure if it will work. The paper and the output are very high quality. It is easy to use the drag and drop software on iOS to design a label. I've used this for return address labels, people's addresses, labeling outdoor seedlings (the 'ink' or whatever is being used does fade in the sunlight, but otherwise seems to be weatherproof including lots of rain), labeling folders, etc. Highly recommend if you want a label-maker. I also grabbed a few cheaper ones and this one is my favorite. ... show more

Took a while to fully charge but works while charging. I have only printed out about 10 labels so far and I'm impressed with the printing speed because it is super quick. I also printed a picture of my baby to see the quality of the resolution. Not the best but it prints like receipts with a lot of dotted grains. In the picture I show, my first picture print was on normal density and the second print was on the lowest density. The normal density has high contrast so it's better to have lower density print for pictures. The app was fairly easy to navigate and pair. However there are a lot of VIP functions that you have to pay for like more font styles and more icons/pictures. Overall I like the printer and will probably buy different sized labels from them in the future. ... show more

This label printer both looks great and works great! It’s fast and the included labels are a good size, they’re big enough to be easily readable but small enough to fit anywhere. The printer itself is also very small and portable but has a good heft that makes it feel quality. I also appreciate the ability to connect over both bluetooth and USB through a mobile and desktop app respectively. The mobile app is designed well however has a lot of features locked behind a paywall. For basic use it’s a nonissue and still offers plenty more features than those godforsaken Dymo label makers. All in all, this printer is absolutely worth more than the $30 I paid and I will happily continue to use it for labeling my food and anything else I can think of! ... show more

    • The Thermal Label Is Fantastic But

This label maker has so many pluses about it, but one major issue that annoyed me. First, this label maker is great. It prints out cleanly and dark. Every label I've made so far looks perfect. The only little printing issue I saw was when it printed out an icon. The image smudge. I removed the icon after that, so I don't know if that's a continuous problem. It prints evenly on the page, and the paper pops up and ends where it supposed to, and the paper tears off with minimal effort. Now, the major malfunction I'm having is the app that goes along with the label maker. It works well on the phone, but if you don't type all that great with a lot of mistakes, using the app on the phone is going to take up a lot of time. There isn't that many fonts to choose from, but plenty of icons and images. However, to get more, there is a pay wall. Figuring out how to use it is easy. Everything is labeled on the screen, right down to centering the words on the image block. However, I wanted to use this on my desktop computer, and getting it to connect to the printer hasn't worked out for me. I've tried everything, so I'm stuck with making labels from my cell phone. Overall, it is a great machine. The price is great in my opinion. The labels look exactly as I wanted them to, and it has made my organizing fun. I recommend this label maker, but be aware if you can't get it to work with your PC and you already have a time typing on your cell phone, get ready for a little more work to get the labels made. ... show more

This label printer is nearly perfect for the price. I was expecting all sorts of possible issues with a label printer this inexpensive, but I was pleasantly surprised that it was very easy to connect to my iPhone and was printing labels in five minutes. The app could use a couple of tweaks you cannot move the cursor around the textbox, so if you want to change the date on a label, you have to backspace and retype the whole date, not just the day. The printer checks the labels every time you power it on and it checks to make sure the labels are aligned and print straight. I've used the printer a dozen or so times, and every time, it connects automatically on startup with no issues. ... show more
