Guys, you can buy it without fear!! It really works!! I'm impressed by how dark it can be and you can see everything clearly, and at levels 1 and 2, those looking from outside can't see if you're hidden, but if you increase it to levels 3 and 4, there's a strong red light on the outside that people can see.. But level 1 and 2 is enough to see everything in total darkness! I did a lot of research I was very skeptical, watched several videos on YouTube... But this 2 pro is incredible, cheap and very easy to use. It only comes with one battery 3200mah. I bought a set with 4 extras batteries model 18650...5000mah rechargeable... It is said that with the 3k battery it lasts 4 to 5 hours... with 4 units of 5kmah batteries it should last at least 25 hours of continuous use. ... show more

    • A fantastic and affordable entry into the night vision world

I purchased this after wanting to get into night vision solutions. After combing through the reviews and recommendations of the comments on Amazon as well as YouTube channels I decided to try this product out. My main goal was to use these goggles to be able to walk to and from Deer stands or blinds in early morning or evening so I don't give myself away using flashlights. The limited field of view takes some getting used to as well as the refresh rate of the sensor but it is entirely doable to move around in the dark while walking at a brisk pace. I will say after trying it out this is NOT something you'd want to use moving through woods. I constantly found myself running into hanging vines or stumbling on uneven ground. If you have to move through woods, take it slow and use trees for bracers and absolutely turn on the infrared lights so you can cast shadows and get a decent depth of field. Moving on open terrain that is flat is ideal and easy to do and even using the Lunarlight mode (no IR light given off) allows one to traverse well without using lights. Another plus was when I received my unit it had a fully charged battery and between me using it as a tester in and around my house as well as a walk back in the dark after some still deer hunting in an evening hunt the battery is still full or at least it shows full on the HUD icon. I can not wait to use this device even further but for now I am loving it! 5/5 for entry level night vision! ... show more

This is a good product and operates as described. Fun to walk around the house in the dark. However it would take a lot of practice to be able to use it for self defense. It's very lightweight, on off and power levels are easy to use. The provided helmet mount is cheap plastic and will break.

I have only used it for a day, but I can say everything works as it should. It is a very cool product and worth the cost. The Swift 2 pro exceeded my expectations for sure. We will see how it holds together with time. The only thing that was a bit odd was the device kept dimming and brightening at times when i was looking in the yard. As if the reflection off the grass was causing it to dim to counter the brightness, but the darkness of everything else made it brighten up, so it went back and forth. Not bad enough to lower my rating though! ... show more

It's not worth the amount for the goggles alot of thing that causes it's to mess up the pictures and were the the focus is at is in the wrong place and being veterans and using alot of different types of goggles these goggles have to many problems and everything is backwards for everything like memory card and plug in right behind the rubber seal and the extra items for the headgear you don't get everything to help hold it up ... show more

OK, they did work great, well worth the price, but this was short lived. I dropped them onto carpet from 2 feet and thy have not worked since. I have no idea where to get them repaired. 1) i I did drop them to be fair, I just would not expect that to break them. Had that not happened, I would give them 5 stars. 2) These amplify (as clearly stated by the add) 1X. They really can't be used as Goggles, with the amplification., it's really hard to walk. To start, i have, and love, the nightfox swift ( 1 ). Night Fox in general is a great company. Having that been said though... Running the NFS2 at 60fps, and then re-entering the men6, will 100% lock the system. You will need to remove the battery to reset. That in of itself is a huge negative. But.. It really seems to be the only one, that ive seen at least. The battery is removable, which is awesome. Except there is no quick release to do so. At night, in the dark, with a small screwdriver. Its not really doable. I personally have a solar power bank on the back of my helmet. I would love to see some kind of upgrade to allow a quick battery swap. Speaking of. The NFS2 comes with a dove tail mount, which is awesome, and well made. The picture does look better than the NFS1, but.. the built in lights, are too streamlined, and focus the beam to the point that any surface within 15 to 20, will cause a big bright spot right in the middle of your vision/ screen. This is Not, an issue with the NFS1. Although the piccture quality of the NFS1 is not as good as the 2. There are two color options in the picture setting. Being black and white, whichis standard/ same as the NFS1, but also a green monochrome setting. As it does look pretty cool, you get better definition and contrast in black and white. The NFS2 is a little bit bigger than the 1, and a little bit taller. Overall its good. But until the Very Few issues are fixed. I will most likely primarily use my NFS1, unfortunately. Again, Night Fox is a great company overall. This venture just needed a few more months in the lab , in my personal opinion. ... show more
