When I received the tent in the mail, the rain fly was damaged so I reached out to Night Cat support. They were very responsive and sent me a replacement quickly so A+ on their customer service. The tent itself seems good and lightweight which is what I was looking for. Can't beat it for the price if you want something inexpensive to throw on the back of your motorcycle like I intend to. Bought this tent to use for moto-camping and needed something that packs up small enough to fit into pannier bags. This thing packs up super small and sets up into a nice spacious one person tent. I was able to fit a back pack and plenty of other belongings if needed on the side of me at least a little over a foot of room after fitting a larger one person Trekology air mattress inside. The tent poles definitely don't have a lot of give and I can see why people have snapped them. Just don't force them to bend and work the tent material around them the first few times while setting up the tent. The material seems to stretch out a little which helps make the set up easier. The stakes that are included are basically worthless if you're not camping in fresh grass, they will bend way too easily. I ended up having to run and snag some Coghlan's aluminum tent stakes which made a HUGE difference. The tent itself is very well made and roomy for one, holds heat quite well. Didn't have a chance to test it out in the rain to see how it holds, but all the seams look to be sealed quite well from the inside of the tent. This tent really can be set up by one person even at dusk! I got the slim one & if you like to cuddle, 2 people really can fit with individual camping pads next to each other! By myself I had enough room for my backpack & clothes at the end by my feet. Good airflow with only the screen zipped & the rain fly off. A camping fan hanging from the center top really will keep it cooler & airy at night if you prefer sleeping cool like I do. Took this camping the first weekend in August & set it up under a tree so it had shade half the day. Cooled off quick with the fan for sleeping even with it nearly triple digits during the day! Easy to take down & put away. I would recommend picking up some better stakes & cords for anchoring if you are camping anywhere but a lawn! LOL as expected, the included tie downs are laughable (most are). It's very thin cord that is invisible after dark (don't trip on it) & cheap thin metal pegs that bend in rough ground & spin in the dirt if you try to hammer them deeper. If you camp in a windy environment, it will turn into a kite with them! ... show more

Terrific little tent. So compact and easy to carry. Construction appears to be great. Used it once so far and it was worth every penny. I think it will last awhile and for the price who really cares. Just be gentle and it will last. Great product at a great price.

The tent is small and easy to pack. The poles that come with it are worthless as the pull apart as you push them through during set up. Tent does not breath well. I used it for bike packing trip. I woke up the next morning and everything was wet with condensation as the their is little venting. I will try it again in rain to see if it keeps dry but I suspect it will need a tarp over it. ... show more

I've been setting up and using pole-pocket type tents like this since they were invented (mid 70s I think, it was a Jansport), and I have never had one as difficult/impossible to setup. I don't know, but it seems like the poles for this tent are just a wee bit too long for it; I got both poles into the pockets, then put one end of the top pole into the tab-hole and one end, and tried to get the other end in the other tab hole. Impossible. Tried multiple times, over and over. It simply did NOT fit into the hole. Very very frustrating! Even if I could have fit it in, the tension on the fabric probably would have very quickly started ripping the pocket away from the tent. Way way WAY too taught. Pretty sure the poles they send are just maybe an inch too long! RETURNING ... show more
