These curtains were exactly what I wanted. They block a lot of light and keep the room dark for sleeping. Not sure how they do on reflecting or retaining heat as I'm not sure how to measure that. It doesn't matter because they look great and are a nice quality. The only drawback to looks is that the creases take a LOOOONNNGGG time to fall out. I've sprayed them with wrinkle release, and they've been up about 3 months and still have creases. I guess I'm not too concerned about them since I'm not willing to take them down to iron or put them in the dryer. The curtains are nice. Color was accurate. But they are not blackout curtains as some of the other curtains in my home. They definitely darken the room. But there is more light coming through than I’m happy with.
