My girlfriend loves this for circuit training. She uses the resistance bands with the stepper in-between lower intensity yoga-style sets. The only issue is really with the way the machine turns your foot slightly. It can take some getting used to and creates strain in your knee until you get the technique down correctly. We like how small it is and that it's easy to store. I'm not sure I'd recommend it as a stand-alone, but it's great for integrating into circuits. ... show more

Niceday's "Twist Stepper for Exercise at Home, Mini Stepper with Resistance Bands, Stair Stepper with 300LBS Loading Capacity, Hydraulic Fitness Stepper with LCD Monitor Gray," is one of my favorite purchase, as it doesn't only work great, but I personally love the twist stepper over the up and down ones. The twist stepper is easier on your feet, legs, and knees, since the impact is minimized. Not to mention, it's so much easier to maneuver and you won't run out of breath as quickly as you would with the up and down steppers. I really like how this stepper is smooth and quiet, with its nice quality built-in hydraulic jack. I also like how this is compact and lightweight, making it very portable. The built-in LCD Monitor is also a plus, as it is always great to know your stats. The addition of a resistance bands is excellent to have as well for a full body workout. Overall, I think that this is a very well-priced and well-built twist stair stepper, and I absolutely recommend this to others. ... show more

    • Moves as it should but doesn't track any movement
The media could not be loaded. I received everything as the listing described. Although I will start off and say it's a little misleading to list a silicone mat to reduce noise in the product photos if it's not included as I found out upon rereading... after I got the box lol 😮💨🤦🏾♀️ The machine comes assembled, just have to attach the tension ropes which was very easy. I did appreciate the quick set up. It's a decent size for easy portability and just barely clears to fit underneath my bed lol. Nice to move it and set up wherever and hop on for a few mins. My main con is that the peddles move as they should but the tracker on mine doesn't pick up any of my movements. Supposedly it turns on when you start making steps but mine won't. Considering other reviews show it working normally, maybe it was the one I received? As shown, even when I push the button to turn it on manually it still stays at 0. I do full steps so I'm not sure why. I've had it for about a week now, nothings changed but I still use it to get some kinda exercise which is better than nothing and use a timer to track my own time. I just wish I could track the calories and amount of steps as well to input into an external app that i'm using. Overall, 3 stars due to that issue and the slightly misleading photos. ... show more

    • One of My Best Work Out Investments
This is the second stepper that I have owned. My family and I have another one that we have had since 2020 that I keep upstairs in my room. So, when I saw this one, I rushed at the opportunity to have another one in the house. We keep this one downstairs in the living room and it is so small that it easily can be tucked out of sight when not in use. But still close by for a quick work-out when watching television or has a few minutes. Sometimes one of us uses it with the bands or without, but it does not matter because each time we use the machine, it benefits our body and our health. Since it is portable, it can be carried around our house easily unlike our treadmill. Which is another great feature since it is so small, it is right there in front of us, ready, waiting, and available. Which means no thinking about going to the gym or the garage to get to the exercise equipment. It is almost like a reflex. Something that we do without even thinking about it and we do it increments. Five minutes here or ten minutes there. I found that if I just get on the machine, those small workout times add up. It has helped in toning my body and with my cardio. I am middle aged and my legs look just as good now as they did when I was in my twenties. ... show more

If you don't have room in your house/apt for a treadmill then this is a good alternative. I like the resistance on this and the screen is great for tracking distance. Very easy to store under my desk. The bands aren't very heavy duty so don't expect to get an intense workout with the bands.

    • Really solid mini-stepper
I'm pretty impressed with this mini-stepper. I have a full home gym that includes lots of weight-lifting equipment, a treadmill, and a brand name spin bike. I've gone back and forth over the past year or so over what to add next to the gym, mostly concluding that I'd like to add a stair stepper or a rower. Larger stair stepping machines are expensive and take up a lot of space. I really wanted one, but wasn't sure if I was willing to sacrifice space and to drop that kind of money on equipment right now. I've seen mini-steppers on social media and have nearly impulse bought one several times. So when I came across this one, I decided to just go for it! I was pleased immediately after opening the package. Sometimes, inexpensive workout equipment can be really flimsy and made of cheap, easily breakable materials. The Niceday stepper is super solid! While it doesn't take up much real estate, the stepper has enough heft to it that it stays still without shifting while you work out. Initially it doesn't seem like you're moving too much: your feet only glide a few inches up and down. But after a few minutes of this, you can tell that you are definitely getting a bit of a workout. It's not as intense as using a traditional stair stepper, but it's definitely good enough for a moderate at-home workout. The built in tracker is really handy and helps you see how many steps you've made and how many minutes you've been exercising. I also like the removable resistance bands so your arms can get some exercise too while you step. Highly recommended! ... show more
