This will be long but worth the read. I have tried numerous shampoos conditioners after leaving city water to well water. My well water dries my hair out. I have naturally curly hair. As you know curls need moisture to curl. Welllll I have used big sexy, biolage, redkin (my fav), Mauwi, Malibu, Ion, Paul Mitchell, and so much more. List could go on. All brands I have used the moisture line or repair line. Yes I do use clarifying shampoo once every two weeks as my hair needs to have products removed from it. Now redkin by far since having well water has been my go to, but the price is outrageous. When I had city water, I alternated during the seasons from biolage to big sexy because of humidity in Ga. But when I tell you!!! I have NEVER had shampoo that moisturized the way this does I mean it! I had to use a descent amount of redkin conditioner to detangle my hair, not with nexus! This shampoo and conditioner is the absolute best for moisture. Now the shampoo doesn’t smell the best but I honestly don’t care cause the conditioner makes up for it. When I had city water I never needed a brush in the shower, I could literally rake my hands through my hair to de tangle with conditioner. But with well water that was an absolute no. But honestly I feel I could do it again now with nexus and stop using my brush in the shower. My husbands beard also feels amazing! This is worth the buy. I hate to say it, but it’s better than redkin. Oh and my hair is bleached as well. So do not hesitate if you need moisture. Cause this is the one! You do not much either. Also when using this product I strongly suggest using a clarifying shampoo to remove the old shampoo and conditioner so you get the best results. I apologize in advance this will be long, but fingers crossed worth it. I’ve been battling a LOT of shedding lately & I’m not quite sure what the culprit is. I’ve been using Olaplex since January but this is new shedding for me, & it’s BAD. My hair is so thin now even having my hair in a hair tie feels so much smaller. It’s way more than I’ve lost ever in my life & if you know postpartum shedding, just know, I’ve had 4 babies & this shedding does not even compare. Nothing else in my life has changed & my hair has always been very healthy & grows on the faster side. I decided to switch things up because I’m almost certain it’s the Olaplex causing the shedding. 🥴 First & foremost this shampoo smells amazing. A very relaxing coconut beachy smell. I love it. It lathers SO WELL & a little goes a long way which is great because my hair is long so normally I need a little more to do the job but not with this one. It instantly makes your hair feel so clean & smooth & makes you wonder if it’s actually conditioner because it works so well. I have less tangles right out of the shower too than with most other shampoos which is awesome. Which brings me to the conditioner itself. It doesn’t smell as good as the shampoo & the two different scents kind of threw me off. Mixed together though, it isn’t as wonderful of a combination as I hoped it would be. It still smells clean, but also a little off. If I could change one thing it would be that they smell the same. I’m only on my 4th use but I do really like this shampoo + conditioner combo so far & im glad I gave it a chance. I’m also pairing it with some hair, skin & nail vitamins & an unbrush because I’m desperate at this point to save my shedding. I think the combination of products is already helping. ... show more

You can’t twist the pump on either bottles. It will not open at all that’s disappointing to me it’s hard get product when in the shower and try hard not get water inside bottle or not too much product or not enough! Sure wish both pumps worked!
