I have always used this shampoo since my grandmother found it. I think it really helps. HOWEVER, every single bottle has come with a loose cap. The last one did come in a sealed plastic bag, with leaky top. Use caution when ordering: My first bottle came in the same box as one of those museum-quality calendars. Last one they had. All year, we had a shampoo spot on every month of our calendar. Those birds just did not look the same! ... show more

As I've gotten older my hair has thinned quite a bit. You can see my scalp and everything, so upon numerous recommendations from the internet I purchased this product. I was somewhat dismayed that the cap wasn't screwed on all the way when it arrived, so many of the items in the same box were basically covered in shampoo, but shampoo can be washed off, so no big. Not much was lost out of the bottle. Since I've gone through this one bottle, I can't say yet that my hair has thickened, although my boyfriend seems to think it has, but I can confirm that I have been losing less. Much less is appearing in the drain after I wash it and less has been falling out as I style. The texture, though, I can absolutely confirm is immensely softer, smoother with less split ends, breakages and fly aways. ... show more
