The media could not be loaded. The 2000A Car Jump Starter by NEXPOW, is a very useful battery pack with multiple way to be a life saver when the time comes. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying. I. Quality – It looks and feels like a good quality battery pack, that I’d put in the upper-middle level of the quality scale for jump starters. I was a little surprised at how light in weight it is, but it still feels durable. Currently, it provides a higher level of value. II. Performance – It’s on the lower side for peak amps versus what available at only 2000A, but it still works great to start most cars. It does however claim in the ad to have a 66.6 Amp Hour battery (66,600 mAh), which is definitely on the larger side, making it a wonderful backup battery for devices. However, on the back of the unit it claims 66.6 Wh instead of Ah like the ad claims. If the ladder is true, then the battery is tiny only providing 5.55 Ah. The jumper ends have an innovative design that has a secondary wire going to the other side of the clamp for a better connection (see my included photos). The built in LED light is bright enough to be helpful in a dark parking lot. The included case is thick, protective and well-made, providing a great bonus. It lacks a digital display like some of the others I have, but it does have four lights to tell you the level of charge. It also comes with six safety features to help in overcharging, over temp, short circuit, ext. Overall, this has been a super helpful, good quality, power bank that can easily be kept in the trunk just in case. With the power to get you going again, this can be a real life saver when the time comes and even doubles as a backup power bank. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it. If you’d find it helpful to see an up-close visual inspection of this product, I recommend you watch my included video in full screen or landscape. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words, well it’s video! You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Lithium batteries are really amazing in that they don't degrade like most other types when dormant. They can hold a strong charge for years without being used. They were used when I worked for a public electric company as backup to controls for the powering switchgear or capacitor banks in event of an outage. Because they could hold a charge unused for 10 years or more, they were a maintenance dream. This device has some newer technology to deliver jumps to larger battery systems than some earlier models with lower Amperage ratings. It can also deliver quite a few starts without needing recharging. In a pinch it has a flashlight or emergency strobe and SOS, feature to try and find help along the roadway. The battery is not always the cause of car failure. Engine or tire issues cause for a lot of stops and stalls. Plus, if you need to call for help and your phone is running low this will power it or charge it back up. One of the few USB powered or charged devices that comes with the transformer to plug into a duplex socket for charging. Most assume you'll have one although only a few devices, usually cell phones include it. Here I believer part of the reason they do is it's a fast charge model, so it handles more current. This bank is large so it can be charged back quicker with the fast-charging transformer. It could use a longer reach on the jumpstart cables. The clamps seem pretty good, but if you were to use this on a truck or diesel battery systems, I'm not sure the wires would handle the current. Although is short term use, they would just get hot and likely not melt of fail. A good priced, 2nd gen jumper system. Recommended. NEXPOW 2000A Peak Car Jump Starter not only can start your car, but can keep your phone and USB devices charged while giving a bright light to see by in an emergency. This is a compact item for the many uses it has. The charger comes in its own carrying case to keep it safe. The charger is rechargeable and comes with it's own USB charging cord and plug. If you need to you could even charge this off of your car's 12v charging port when the car is at full charge of course. The charger is easy to use. Once fully charge, just plug the jumper cables into the battery back, hook up the red and black clamps to the correct post on your car battery and start your car. This much easier that dragging out traditional jumper cables and the best thing is you don't have to wait for someone to come give you car a jump. I was able to use this to start a friends dead battery. It only took a matter of minutes from dead battery to car running again. It was way too easy. This great for the person who travels a lot and the person who is safety conscience. No need to get help from strangers or to be waiting for help to come. ... show more
