Should I Buy It?

If you value mobility and independence and are looking for a scooter that's easy to transport and has a long battery life, this scooter is a strong candidate. It's particularly well-suited for those who travel on flat surfaces and have the ability to manage its weight. That said, if you frequently traverse uneven terrain or need a highly adaptable height setting, you might want to consider other options. Overall, for its convenience, performance, and user-friendly features, it comes highly recommended by current users.

  • Great find
This product is light weight & soooo fast. It folds up easily & is compact enough fir the backseat or trunk. Also, the battery life seems to be exceptional. This is the second scooter I've owned. It far surpasses my previous one.

  • Flat surfaces only with out turning
First time trying it tipped over going on my sidewalk with a curve in it. Won't make small grades without pushing. No clear instructions on when, how, and how long to charge. I like the ease of folding and can run quick, but cannot lift it by my self. Hopefully it will work okay for getting into doctors, hospitals, and places without mobility scooters, since I cannot walk only short distances. Will update if things change. They tell you to practice in a field but it won't go on grass. ... show more

  • Junk
I bought this with the intention to take it on trips. I tested it at IKEA and it died on me halfway through! They tried to give me a replacement part to see if that would fix it, but I'm not a mechanic. I'm not gonna be taking parts off. It should work correctly the first time.

  • Battery hint, best for flat ground, and with a cushion.
I bought this scooter for an Hawaiian cruise I was taking. I had torn my meniscus in my knee and knew I wouldn't be able to walk around like I was used to doing. First the good... I love that it comes already assembled in the box. Just pull it out and unfold it. It is a tight fit, and was a little tough for an injured 66 yr old grandma. It is very stiff to fold and unfold at first, but after a few times it gets easier. I didn't want to have to take apart and put together a scooter when I'm traveling. Plus the ones you take apart are heavy. Unlike other scooters I've used at times, there isn't a handle to push up to go forward or down to reverse. It's right handle adjust the speed, and to reverse it there is a button on the left side that you push in to reverse, and then push again to release, and go forward again. It runs very good on flat surfaces, and can be very fast, but it doesn't do well on inclines. (I had to get pushed to get on and off the ship's gangway.) I also like that you can lock the battery, and it comes with separate keys for the "ignition" and the battery. MAJOR BATTERY HINT... if you lock the battery for airline travel and it won't unlock, so you can use it, try to pull the battery out slightly and then push it back in. YOU SHOULD HEAR A CLICK. I couldn't use it for the first 5 days of my cruise. I couldn't pull the battery out more than an inch or so, and it never clicked when I pushed it back until the fifth day. Thankfully, we were traveling to Hawaii during that time and the ship was small. It says it goes upto 20 miles, but bear in mind there are factors that determine how far you can go. I found it went about 2 miles before the battery showed half full. I didn't go far as I was traveling alone and wouldn't have any one to help me if it died. I'll experiment with it and see how far I can actually take it. The TSA and airlines have strick guidelines on scooter motors and this one just passes. Carnival cruises also doesn't allow scooter over 21 inches wide (to fit thru the cabin doors) and this one qualifies, plus I can fold it up when in the cabin so it doesn't take up too much space. It also comes with a little tool kit. I contacted the seller via Amazon when I received it, for a missing headlight, which they sent to me immediately, and an issue with the basket, which they refunded me $20 so I could buy a different basket. The basket isn't shown on the scooter in any of the pictures because it won't fit due to the handbrake. I suggested they see if the manufacturer could tilt the handbrake down instead of out. I liked the weight limit of 50 lbs. I'm not as strong as I once was, but I can still lift and scoot it into my auto. My dislikes... There aren't any anti-tip wheels, back lights, or a back up beeper. Since the scooter doesn't do well on inclines, I don't think the anti-tip wheels matter much. I plan to buy regular bike lights for the back of the scooter, although I don't plan to use it at night. As for the beeper, no one seems to pay attention to them any way. The seat is okay for short trips, but after sitting on it for an hour during a show, it was very uncomfortable. I plan to get another seat to place on top of the one it comes with. The seat doesn't move, but the side handles are short enough to get on and off. I did find sitting side saddle on the scooter made it easier for me to roll my suitcase along side me. I bought an umbrella and a phone/cup holder to attach to the frame. The umbrella doesn't stay up that well, but it's better than the sun or rain coming down on you. Overall, I am very pleased with the scooter and the customer service I received from the seller. I don't plan to use it unless absolutely necessary. If I do need it more often, then I'll buy another battery for it. ... show more

  • will be great for traveling
the size is perfect for traveling. It is a bit stiff in the folding but am sure that will improve. The cover is actually a bit too small to put on. I was surprised at how fast it goes, I have to practice to go slower. But I am glad I bought it. I had questioned how long it takes to charge the battery. I asked the question and received an answer from the seller, they said 5 hours. Well after 5 hours I went to unplug and found that the light on the charger had changed from red to green so I know it was charged. ... show more

  • What a fun little scooter!
I cannot walk long distances and need a scooter that is easy to transport so I can attend various events. I love this scooter. It is lightweight and fast, and being able to fold it makes it so easy to take anywhere. It's a bit cramped for long-legged people, but not uncomfortably so. If I have any complaint, it would be for the operating manual. It's worthless, especially regarding the initial learning process. Thank goodness for the video on the Amazon page; I had to watch it several times to figure out how to remove/replace the battery. This should have been explained in the manual and needs to be revised. But all in all, I love this scooter. ... show more

  • great product
It does everything they claim, but only on flat level ground. it goes up a 7 deg ramp, barely, you have to get a little run at it. It self brakes going down, no need to apply the brake. It will not go on the lawn, the tires sink into the grass and it just spins the tire, had to push it to get it off the lawn. The throttle is smooth but fast, It goes VERY fast, too fast for the house use, but is very controllable in speed and maneuverability in the house. It is very light, at 83 I can lift it, and use my feet to move it backwards, nice! Love it! ... show more

  • Fair!
I say "fair" because the seat has no cushioning...NONE! Feels like the cover just sits over a wood platform. For someone who has had multiple spinal surgeries and still has serious sciatica, the seat is a big problem. I will find a cushion for it, will make a cover, and figure out a way to attach it. Other than that the scooter is fine--it is full of pep and it folds without having to remove any components except the lithium battery to carry on board for a flight. ... show more
