  • Revived Comfort and Style! Replacement Arm Pads for Steelcase Leap V2 Chair are a Must-Have
As a loyal user of the Steelcase Leap V2 Office Chair, I recently decided to breathe new life into it with the Replacement Arm Pads Caps. While these pads offer an affordable and visually appealing solution, I must highlight one aspect that some users might want to consider. The installation process was as easy as could be – a simple swap that instantly transformed the look of my chair. The modern design and quality materials used in the Replacement Arm Pads Caps gave my chair a fresh and stylish appearance, something I greatly appreciate. However, it's important to note that these replacement pads are notably firmer compared to the original arm pads. While they do provide solid support, the difference in firmness was noticeable during extended work hours. For me, this change took a bit of getting used to, but it might pose an issue for those accustomed to the plush comfort of the original arm pads. That being said, if you prioritize aesthetics and durability, these Replacement Arm Pads Caps are a great option. They've added an element of sophistication to my workspace and have likely extended the lifespan of my chair considerably. While the change in firmness was an adjustment, the overall benefits make this a worthwhile purchase. In conclusion, the Replacement Arm Pads Caps for the Steelcase Leap V2 Chair offer a cost-effective way to enhance the look and feel of your chair. Just be prepared for the difference in firmness, and you'll likely find these replacement pads to be a valuable addition to your office setup. 🪑✨👍 ... show more

  • Good Enough! And that's all I needed
I have an old Steelcase Leap V2 that was purchased through a reseller. The armrests were bulging and worn out so every time I tried using them, they'd stick to my arms. These replacements, while made of much more firm foam, work to refresh the look of my chair and they're soft enough for regular use. I'm giving it four stars for this reason - while it's not as nice as the original, it's good enough. ... show more

  • Better than the Steelcase Original
I ordered this for my Steelcase Amia chair. They are an exact match for size and appearance. However, I find the firmness to be better than the original. It was an easy install. Save the original screws and use to install these replacement arm pads. You'll need a Torx 15 driver.

  • Stiff & Imprecise but an Inexpensive Way to Extend the Life of your Steelcase Chair
My Steelcase chair is going to be 10 years old in a few months. After several years the armrests started to break apart and I bought another brand's cheap knock off replacements. They lasted 3 years before they started to come apart too. So now my chair has its third set of armrests. How do they measure up? Well, they're much closer to the other set of knock off replacements than the OEM parts. They're very stiff. They also seemed to be built with imprecise manufacturing standards. In both of my armrests, the clear plastic insert within the stiff foam was uneven: one corner was sunken down further than the rest and its opposite corner was lifted up. Because of this each armrest had one screw hole that was further away from its matching screw than the other 3. With a LOT of pushing against the armrest I was finally able to get the screws for those deep corners to twist into their designated holes, but it took more effort than it should and I can't help but wonder if those miscast foam parts will end up having structural integrity issues. But hey, these are a little over $20 a pair at the time of this writing. When I looked at OEM armrests 3 years ago they were $150 a pair. Now I have trouble finding them at all. So unless you're willing to replace an otherwise good chair, these may be your best bet to extend its life. ... show more

  • These are the highest quality replacements you can reasonably expect to find
After reading the previous reviews, I was a little apprehensive about ordering these arm rests. But having received and installed one pair, I ordered a second pair for the future. I disagree with those that say these are any more stiff/firm than the originals. And for those of you that complained of the holes being unthreaded I ask you; do you honestly think that the holes are threaded before being assembled at the factory? As far as I can tell these arm rests are OEM quality. They probably come off the same assembly line as the ones that ship with a new chair. If you try installing T-20 screws into unthreaded holes, with a #2 Phillips screwdriver, you are going to have problems. And you deserve it. Because there is such a thing as using the right tool for the job. ... show more

  • Not as soft as the originals but seem very durable.
This fit my Steelcase Leap V2 chair without much issue. The screw holes seemed just a tiny bit off but not so much that they did not work.

  • Not as comfortable, but possibly more durable than the originals. Requires T20 Torx bit
I have a Steelcase Leap v2 that I got refurbished from BTOD. My previous arm pads had significant wear after a long time of usage and unfortunate interactions with a ferocious kitten. Installing these was pretty easy. It just requires a T20 Torx bit for your screwdriver/drill. These aren't quite as comfortable as what I had previously, but I am actually hopeful they will be more durable. They are definitely stiffer and sturdier. Getting slipcovers for added comfort is always an option, so the comfort doesn't concern me too much. ... show more

Bought these in October and went ahead to try them and these are hella stiff. I'm not sure if these needs to be worn out but if i could return them I would
