I love that this dress is super comfortable and the cut is very flattering for plus-size figures. I also love how wide the bottom of it is when I spin, and that it has decently sized pockets. I wear an 18/20 (46DDD), bought it in a 22 and this thing fits perfectly. I will very likely get more of these in other colors. I’m not real crazy about the fabric it was made from because it’s a cotton blend which means it can be stained or bleached (I was hoping for something more durable and with more weight and stretch) but it’s certainly not bad. ... show more

I followed the previous reviews and got one size smaller. I purchased an 18. Measurement reference: 40E, 41 waist, 51 hip. The material is a heavy tee shirt weight. It’s soft and comfortable. The bust allows room for the girls. My half tee works perfectly underneath for modesty. The bust/waist tie is in the most perfect location because it hides the pooch without being obvious. The length hits just below the knee, so it’s perfect for pumps or boots. Like the reviewers who added a petticoat, this dress spins beautifully. So if a little extra oomph is desired, they’re absolutely right. This dress can easily be worn alone or under a blazer, sweater, or a denim shirt. I could easily over wear this dress :) ... show more

This was one of two dresses that I had in sight for a church event. The first one was a complete wreck, but this dress is something that my girl friends and I absolutely adored! I already knew that the dress would not be exactly like the image used, but this is common sense; I didn't expect anything but a cute dress that has class and elegant in its construction. I loved that material is less see-through, cotton a little thicker, a little bland that could be dressed up with a simple brooch that made this dress so classy. On the cons: I knew right away that I had chosen the right size for a true-to-size measurement. I wish I had put it on to try it out first, but my health will always take my primary focus--and I never had a chance to put it on until last night... I could deal with the feel of the material, and my boobs fit perfectly...but the stretch band inside was waaay too tight, as though a short piece of band had been slapped inside haphazardly to avoid wasting material. THE BAND SNAPPED BACK AND HIT ME UNDER THE BOOBS. I have a condition that affects my muscles, and it is now swelling from the force. To add insult to injury, one of my friends was helping me tie up the wrap around material--and the left one had the stitches pulled off around 75%. I only brought this dress (no alternate dress was with me) and I broke down in tears, afraid the whole dress would start ripping everywhere. Nobody pulled the strap too tight and it was done gently because of my condition!! The dress was held with care putting it on, and it started falling apart...and I have never bought such a nice dress that fell apart like this one did in my life! Folks, make sure you can make time to try on the dress FIRST to ensure that the seams or the elastic band do not cause you injury to the body and to the wallet! I can't say I would recommend this particular dress, but search for a similar style elsewhere with better quality material. ... show more

I like this dress. The material a jersey like material, so it is very stretchy and comfortable. It is flattering on a plus sized figure and I love the color. It's definitely not a structured dress, but I feel like this is a good dress for a lot of different occasions, both formal and casual.

I like this dress a lot. But I did size up one size after reading reviews. I think a less chesty person would not need to do this, however. For this reason I rated it as tight in chest, as if I had bought my correct size it would have been tight. (I am a size 22, 44DDD chest, I bought a 24.) Sizing up worked perfectly. It fits well in the chest and arms without being overstretched, and has a lovely, flowy skirt. Without the tie back the waist is a bit loose on me, but the tie back solves that well. The crossover neckline is a bit too low and app to open up for me, I wear a cami with it. I suspect I will need to be gentle with washing it and hang to dry. I'm not sure it will hold up for more than that. But I do think it will travel very well. It doesn't wrinkle. ... show more
