That said my arms on my chair were dying. So needed a cover or something. Got these and they go on with velcro, strip in middle and aren't as crisp nor and bend quite as nice as the description. So they kind of moved around, but they were soft and I really liked the quality. So what I did was unbolted the arms and pads, wrapped these around the arm pad, screwed the pads back down and remounted the arms. Worked perfect and held them in place perfectly that way. The chair is more comfortable now than ever. Recommend them to protect your new office chair or for an upgrade to an old one. If you have hard plastic arms on your chair, then you will really benefit from them. ... show more

The armrest pads of my favorite gaming chair began to crack after 3 years and needed to be replaced. The armrests were leather, and finding a replacement pad was not an easy task. I have purchased the stretchy chair arm protectors before and they are thin and never last long. These are cushy and so easy to install. The Velcro makes it easy to adjust to any size or shaped arm. I believe they will last a very long time. Two thumbs up. ;)

Super comfortable. Wider seat, thicker spring w/ higher tension. I gave it 4 starts for comfort, but only because I still need a very small pillow in the center of my lower back for extra lumbar support; however, that is more of an issue specific to me, and nothing general deficient in the chair. The desk chair arms were really badly worn out to the point I thought I would have to buy a new chair even though the rest of the chair still looks good. I bought these and they work great! Easy to put on (and they stay in place!) they look like they were part of the chair.

As at least one other reviewer mentioned, these arm chair coverings do not have that much padding. But they are thick enough to do what I need.......and that is cover some protruding staples on the existing arm so they don't jab into my elbows. The covers are very soft, felt like material. The Velcro worked perfectly in wrapping the arms without any binding or wrinkles in the covers. And they were plenty long (almost too long, but not worth cutting off the less than half inch extra).
