Holds my mattress without a box spring and is super solid. No creaking or squeaking. Lots of metal slats means that the mattress feels like it's on a solid board. No rolling off the side for me anymore! Plenty of space underneath for my dog to hide and to store boxes.

We bought a similar platform and it had always squeaked. I was honestly relieved when that rickety old thing broke in our move so I could buy another. This one was so great, I bought 2 more for my 2 kids! I love that it is tall underneath for storage, it is built solidly and with only a couple bolts removed, would be easy to fold up and move! The sizing was great, quality superb and solid. I wish I had bought this the first time. It was even cheaper than my squeaky first one! If I were to complain about anything, it would be that the mattress slides easily along the platform. Is that bad? Well, in some ways yes, some no. I got the mattress on it by myself, but I do worry my kids will slide the mattress and fall through, to the platform underneath, being their monkey selves. Why buy a box spring? This bed frame is perfect for our apartment and true to size (king). It was soooo easy to set up and I have no previous experience of building anything! I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this frame again, it looks stylist and it’s sturdy. It supports the weight of a 10inch memory foam mattress with easy and the weight of to adults. I feel very supported and the set up means is easier to make your bed and keep the area clean.
