Just got this new cat tower- in the photo the new on I just put together is on the right. My old, well cat loved one on the left I got at Petsmart about 7 years ago and I included it in my photo for comparison. The new one was very easy to put together- I would be careful not to overtighten the screw together joints or you could risk popping out the metal connectors. Theres really no need to over tighten it anyway. The carpet appears to be similar to the carpet on my original tower. Some reviews I read prior to this purchase stated that their cats shredded the carpet- well guess what???? Thats what cats do and its better they shred on the tower than your precious couch😉! Let me repeat that- cats love to shred on carpet! You can sprinkle a little catnip on this to help train them that this is their space to shred away! As you can see in the photo of my old one it is well shredded- you can take scissors and trim the frays from time to time if needed and the rope can be replaced as needed also. The lower perch on my old fell off last week- its fixable- just need some screws. Some reviews also stated their cat could not get up because if the configuration of the perches- then something is wrong with your cat! Cats are natural climbers and mine are like flying monkeys racing up and down the tower! My male is 18lbs and has never knocked the original over even when he is having major road rage- it will teeter a little but it always rights itself. Really stable and sturdy- this new tower appears to have the same building sensibility put into it. Just out if the box I am happy with this purchase and would recommend it to a friend! This new tower cost me about $40 less than my original one on sale at Petsmart for $180. So that was a plus! I will update how it goes in the future if anything comes up. ... show more

Great product! Super easy to put together. It only had 3 pieces! Cats LOVE it! I’m a little worried the top will break because it seems to be leaning, but only because my cats are fat. If you have normal sized ones they should be fine!

Overall build is sturdy and my cats love the layout, however the carpeting is cheap and has started shedding within days of putting this out. I did reach out to customer service and got a prompt reply and a partial refund. Very pleased with their quick resolution.

No tools need and took maybe 10 minutes. Took it to bedroom and had to fight the cat to stay off it as I put it in place...he was super excited about it!! It looks like it will last. I have a similar one that is made about the same but heftier made...but I'm hoping this one will last just as long.

Really nice cat tower. Assembly is super easy. Cats use it daily. Having said that, the carpeting used is cheap and shreds easily. I need to vacuum several times per week to get all the carpet tufts off the floor.

    • Shred the Cat Condo, not the Couch

I bought this tower over a year ago and my cat loves it. She quickly stopped shredding anything and everything and took to this tower before it was even assembled. Can't explain that except somehow she knew it was hers and has proceeded to make clear it is hers, shredding the heck out of it, using it as her place to celebrate "wins" when we're playing and dashing to it when she wants to play. My biggest concern with any tower is stability and this one has been fine, unlike a previous one that she knocked over in her enthusiasm and wouldn't go near again after that. I bought one for a friend whose cat has taken to it in the same way and I'm buying a second one for my bedroom so she'll stop jumping from my nightstand to the space above my closets and clawing the doors in the process. So yes, I highly recommend this cat condo. It's stable, there's plenty to shred on, there's room to climb and room to rest, and she can perch on the top and survey her property. ... show more

Searched for a tall cat tree for my daughter’s new rescue cat Rocky. Was happy with it being solid wood and made out of carpet. My daughter’s cat is very active and likes to jump. Therefore was surprised when she told me the cat only stayed on the 2 lower levels. When I asked why she texted me a picture and it showed the 3 level tube was right over the second level. Making it impossible for the cat to access the 3 and then top level. The cat tree doesn’t look like the picture. Returning this cat tree. Not having.
