  • Great little battery
Style: 12V 10Ah
I was impressed by how light it is, how fast it charges, and that it has self-protection technology. I used it during camping and power outages with a solar panel and charging system. It went great.

  • Update - failed within 1 day
Style: 12V 18Ah
Update 4 days later, 10/11/2024 Well...this did not work out. The battery arrived and was installed on Monday, just before Hurricane Milton struck Wednesday night. After a1/2 second test crank (which was fine), the battery was connected to a new LiFePo4 battery charger designed for this battery chemistry. The charger itself may be suspect, as the battery would not accept a charge. The charger displayed a fault mode after a few hours. I then connected it to a known good charger. After a charge of several hours at 2amps, the charger had to be disconnected as we prepped for the storm. A quick check on Tuesday (the next day) found that the generator would not start. Did not have time to do diagnostics with the storm coming. Had to pull-start the generator after we lost power Wednesday evening. Did diagnostics today, Friday 10/11. No problem with the starter motor, as it started immediately with my portable jumper pack. The Nermark battery showed less than 10V on my DVM. Both chargers displayed a battery fault, and were unable to charge the battery above 10.3V. It's possible there was an issue with the built-in BMS (Battery Management System), but I don't know. It's getting returned once Whole Foods is open again. Original Review 10/7/2024 Very simple installation to remove the old sealed lead acid 12-18 battery and replace it with this one. I have been using LiFePo4 batteries in my RC aircraft for over 20 years and I'm glad that this battery is available to replace the typical unreliable lead acid battery that is used as a starter in portable equipment. I took the opportunity to install the terminal rings and cable for the appropriate 3 amp charger and even without completing the charge, did a quick test start on my generator. I hope it will last several years, as this generator is only used for hurricane emergencies. However, I have batteries of this chemistry that are over 20 years old and still hold 80% or more of their charge. I will report back and update this review in the event that there are any failures, or possibly great news to continue to report years from now. ... show more

  • Didn't last long...
Style: 12V 20Ah
Worked great while it lasted. Had it hooked up to a chicken coop door and 30W solar panel. After about 4 months (just outside support window) it stopped taking a charge from either the solar panel or a battery charger after I hooked it up. Eventually just degraded down to 1V. Maybe I got a dud... *** Seller contacted me and offered a full refund which is generous since product is outside return and support window. I’d already replaced the battery but I’d give it another shot especially since they backup their product. I upped to 4 stars based on product support. ... show more

  • These are great batteries!
Style: 12V 10Ah-2PACK
Replaced the factory type SLA 12v, 7Ah batteries in my old E300 with these, which are noticeably lighter and now I'm getting much more range, plus experienced a slight increase in top speed. Even found out the charger I was using is compatible, which is a bonus. All e-scooters and e-bikes should feature this battery technology. ... show more

  • Good replacement
Style: 12V 10Ah
The electric starter on our generator didn’t work because the battery wouldn’t charge. Entered the model number and found this battery. Had to modify the terminals to fit the cables, but the generator started up once connected. Great price and exact fit.

  • Great ride-on battery replacement
Style: 12V 16Ah
Love the form factor, and size. Plug and play, works well and charges fast. We purchased this to replace the AGM battery on my kid's electric ride on. Satisfied so far.

  • Very interesting capacity test on this 12v 10Ah battery
Style: 12V 10Ah
First of all I am an electronics hobbyist and I repair electronics as a hobby and have used all types of batteries extensively for a long time. I'm quite familiar with the different chemistries and how to use them and care for them. In the last week I have purchased 4 LiFePO4 batteries ranging from 6Ah to 20Ah. This particular 12v 10Ah battery was noticeably heavier than the other 12v 10Ah batteries I received from other brands which struck me as a bit odd. The thought being that either the batteries were more dense meaning more actual internal contents that comprise the battery, or a marketing gimmick to make them feel heavier which might imply a better quality battery. So as always with new storage batteries I set up and ran a full discharge capacity test. With this one at least the results were surprising. After fully charging the battery I ran a discharge test at 500mA. The result was 11.870Ah. For all intents and purposes, 12Ah. Not sure if this is actually a 12Ah battery mismarked as 10Ah or what but it is what it is. I don't see others getting this capacity from these 10Ah batteries so it may be unusual. Still, pleasantly surprised. Some people have reported that these batteries were not good for running their computer battery backups and the explanation is simple. These 10Ah batteries are rated for 10A continuous current draw. It is very common for modern desktop PC's to draw more than that. Especially gaming machines with high powered cpu, graphics and power supplies and large monitors, multiple fans etc. While similar sized lead acid batteries might supply significantly more current, in a case like this the BMS in the lithium Phosphate battery recognizes the overload and shuts the battery off. There is no BMS in lead acid batteries so they can give all they have until depleted. I would personally recommend at least a 20A momentary and 15A continuous rated battery for a battery backup. That would allow some surge overhead. This is my first Nermak LiFePO4 and so far better than so good. How long it lasts and durability are yet to be discovered. ... show more
