    • This is saw is a beast
I needed a big saw, but did not have a big saw budget. This saw fit the bill. There were no assembly instructions, but if you know chainsaws then it will not be a problem. However, there are some plastic parts I still have no clue what they are for. Saw operation is smooth and easy, it stayed up the first time after 2 pulls. Just follow the published starting procedure. I have been cutting with it and it is a beast of a saw. Plenty of power, and does not bog down like some saws do when cutting large logs. So far I have cut 36” and 42” diameter pine logs with no problems. The saw starts with one or two pulls when cold or hot. Surprisingly, it is pretty good in gas and bar oil.     • Product didn’t work
Product was faulty and seller kept giving me the run around on returning it. After they finally gave me a return receipt and I returned the item they still have not refunded my money. STAY AWAY

    • Cooked on the first day but it can be made whole
Killed this thing on an oak tree the first day. From what I can tell, gas cap was defective and let too much air in. Ground guy was a little too excited to bust it wide open also. Opened it up and cylinder, piston and rings were toast. SOLUTION: I went to my local ace hardware and got a couple oem stihl caps for the thing, ordered a cylinder, piston and rings kit for $32 as recommended by neotec. I used a dremel to round over any suspicious sharp edges in the cylinder ports. They said they would reimburse me for the purchase of the replacement part which I never got around to making happen. Instead all I did was swap cylinder piston and rings. Now running with 93 unleaded, 40:1 with stihl synthetic oil. Runs great, starts every time and kicks ass. Cutting trees as big as 40" in diameter so far and it does just fine. The included dogs have plenty of bite for helping you aim and control cuts. I mean it's basically a 660, and even with the rebuild early on, so far has proven to have plenty of capacity for felling and bucking.     • Horrible Instructions and Even Worse Customer Service
Arrived in more pieces than indicated. Instructions for assembly were not clear and left much to be interpreted. Unable to remove cover for spark plug due to design and possible damage to cover. After struggling through for hours, requested return (within 24 hours of receipt) and spent work than a week going back and forth with company regarding return. Still awaiting return info from company. I don't know if it works but would definitely NOT recommend based on assembly and customer service. ... show more

    • customer service is horrible
The saw will not crank. Instead of giving me a refund, they send instructions on how to work on it and insisting that I send a video of the saw, not working, before they will consider a refund. This company has been horrible to work with. Go spend the extra money and buy a saw local.

Bought this saw to use as an Alaskan Mill and it work perfectly! Used it to cut slabs from a fallen black walnut tree. It was the best saw that would accommodate a 36" bar for the price. The others wear considerable more expensive.
