Bought this saw because I dropped a tree on my 392 Husqvarna and could not stomach pain $1400 for a new one that only used twice a year so I took a gamble and bought this one and it is every bit as good as my Husqvarna I’m down two trees one 60 inches and diameter across the step and the other one inches in diameter across the trunk and also process them it performed flawlessly. I ordered this saw and had it to my door in 4 days. It was simple to put together! No tuning straight out of the box. I ran 25/1 for break in. It's a great strong running saw. The pull start did begin to slip so I contacted Neotec and they reimbursed me for the new part within two days! It has been great ever since! Would highly recommend this saw and this brand! Horrible Customer Service. I purchased a NH895 with 36” bar and chain. I received the saw but not the bar and chain. Checking the tracking numbers with UPS. UPS states the package was lost and they were contacting the shipper. I messaged Neo-Tech about sending me a replacement bar and chain. They can see for themselves what UPS stated about being lost. Neo-Tech will not respond to my messages and have not sent me a replacement bar and chain. I paid for this along with the saw. Now I can not get a refund or send the saw back. I bought two saws from them at the same time. I will never buy another one! Now its going to cost me another $100 to out a bar and chain on this saw. Horrible Customer Service!! The chainsaw seems ok, but many of the components are cheaply made. But the main issue is the seller. When I mentioned the the product broke fore I even got a chance they wanted to throw pennies at the problem to make me go away. Instead of either sending me the part or even sending me somewhere to fix it properly. They delayed in replying and I eventually had to go through Amazon to help with the matter. The seller did not even want to really address the issue. Amazon was very helpful and helped me resolve the issue A good part would cost way more than they claimed. ... show more

I thought i would take a chance with this saw and I was really impressed once i received it. Started right up and has plenty of good power. Ran with Alaskan saw mill and was very smooth. Definatley a good buy especially at the price.

Pretty satisfied for the price, using the nh 895 in an Alaskan sawmill. Came with ngk plug, decent carb but the oiler quit working by the 3rd tank of gas. Also came with the wrong bar. The 114dl 36” is for the Stihl clones and the chain hardly fit on the saw. Just use the 115dl chains and save yourself a headache. ... show more

Only one thing that kept us from giving it a 5-star review. When putting the chain on, accidentally hit the brake and it locked up before we connected parts. Could not get brake to release and ended up taking it to local small engine repair. While there he notched chain for cutting ice and it worked like a charm! ... show more
