I would have given it 5 stars, but it seems a little too congested for my two cats that are only 2+ years old. The bottom hammock could use some height above it and cats seem to have to claw their way straight up to get on the upper platforms. I put it together in about a half hour and the cats were climbing on it every step of the way. Once I completed it, each of the five cats have taken there turn exploring it and picking there spot. It seems to be a hit.

    • Bad assembly directions and bell should be removed.

I have done all kinds of assembly and also did it for a living. The poles are not labeled properly. I had to guess which pole went where. I ended up taking it apart and keep looking at the photo of it to look at the length of each one. There are 3 different lengths that are close in size. Both the instruction booklet and the video did not make it clear enough. What should have taken me 30 minutes took me three hours because I had to stop and compare each pole to the photo after I disassembled it. The manufacturer needs to get someone to not only label the poles correctly, they need to get someone who knows how to instruct assembly properly. On the up side, it's an awesome cat play house. My kitty loves it. She started playing with it before I was finished making it. It's sturdy and a lot of fun for her. Word of caution though...your kitty's claw can get stuck in the bell. I read that on a previous review and feel it needs to be known. I removed the bell and suggest you all do so for your kitty's safety. I would have given this 5 stars but only gave it 4 because of the horrible instructions. ... show more

It was time consuming to put together by myself, but with an extra set of hands you’ll have it done within 20 minutes. It’s very sturdy, and even offers places to screw it into the wall. My cat is fat so we did end up doing that, and haven’t had any issues with it. Very easy to clean, (a cat hair rake works wonders on materials like this) and everything is made pretty well quality. My cat absolutely loves sleeping in it! I also love how the scratchers go far up. My cat is quite large and most scratchers are too small for her to stretch out on. She also fits the most of the sleeping spaces well, which has been an issue with her before with other products. ... show more
