  • Heavy and sturdy
Although it may seem hard to adjust at first, u need the Allen wrench to adjust the movement and then tighten it back up. Its a 2 man job to set this thing up bc its pretty heavy with the monitor and the mount. One thing i dont like is that i am unable to adjust the height bc the screw for the adjustment is tucked away in the covering and the allen wrench can't reach it so its stuck at that height. over all its good for its price and quality. ... show more

  • The Most Elegantly Engineered Monitor Bracket I've Ever Seen
I mount monitors everywhere, work, school, home. This is probably the most versatile and well-designed bracket I've ever seen. It is delicate and precision while being super strong and durable. I took apart some of the articulation joints. From the view of an experienced engineer, this device will last interminably. I always take a few moments to read a good number of one-and-two-star reviews before writing any review, so I can understand problems others had, and possibly cover them in my own review. To that end, this bracket requires masculine strength to install. There are some very tight joints and a spring-hinge that need to be moved, and forearm strength is required. Also, the bracket has an integral mounting plate, which means it must be attached to the wall with the monitor attached, or the monitor must be attached after the bracket is mounted on the wall. There is a spirit level some complained about being aunble to remove; unsightly I guess. That is a bit too nit-picky! I found it easy to understand, without instructions, and to require minimal time and effort to install. From the time the item arrived it was about two hours 'til the 32" monitor was mounted on a universal-articulation bracket, definitely stout enough to hold considerably more than my 20-pound monitor! For the average computer user, I estimate they would have everything required to make holes and drive bolts. I required a hammer-drill, because i was mounting to a concrete wall. The hardware included seems adequate except for the wall anchors, which are nowhere near! In drywall or plaster, I would use Molly anchors with 3/16" screws. Mollys have the screw inside the anchor. You just need to know your wall thickness.Like these: https://www.amazon.com/Glarks-Plated-Assortment-Drywall-Plaster/dp/B07DJ3BJGC/ref=sr_1_7_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=molly+anchors&qid=1634609485&sr=8-7-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUFPOFY4REQyRUNCNlYmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTAwMDQ0OThMVTQ1OUg3TVZRMTgmZW5jcnlwdGVkQWRJZD1BMDgwNjY0ODJSVTc0WUJHN0paUU0md2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9tdGYmYWN0aW9uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl A bit confusing is the arm tension adjustment. To increase you must turn CCW, which is usually 'loosen'. The arm comes with quite a bit of tension on it. The adjustment screw is concealed behind some trim. So just don't mess around with it until the bracket is securely mounted to the wall, and the monitor is securely mounted to it. After it's all done you can set the arm tension. Considerable forearm strength is required to tighten the articulation joints sufficiently to hold in place a large monitor. It is difficult to use a pliers on a hex-key wrench. But I've seen it done by an industrious single-mother. I will buy this exact bracket over any other when I require strength and articulation. ... show more

  • Great monitor mount - was confused at first!
So initially I took it out of the box and tried adjusting it before installing and all adjustments were practically impossible- I thought the thing was broken! Then I watched a few videos and it was clear you have to install it for it to work and move properly. So far so great!

  • Use included mounting hardware. Skip trying Ez Toggle.
I had saw a post about using Ez Toggles for going into drywall. Have used them before for other projects with great success. Had some that were rated at 90 Lbs. Only putting ~18 pounds (Monitor and bracket) in place. Now I have a second project to tackle where the Ez Toggle ripped out of the wall. EZ toggles great for hanging static wieght (i.e. pictures, etc.) not so much for weight out from the wall. Doh! Install instructions are picto-gram, easy to decipher if you pay attention. Install kit includes a nut driver for the included lag screw. Pull out a 10mm deep socket and make your life easier. Articulation joints are stiff enough for the 8 Lb, 19 inch monitor that is mounted. Would purchase again. Great having 45" ( 26" +19") inches of screen real estate to work with. The 26" monitor is on my desk. Now ready to start day trading 2022 style. 3 Rolls of TP for a can of beans. ... show more

  • A great mount, but be careful with the cable management clips
Very sturdy, holds my curved l 32 inch 1440p 175hz (pretty heavy) monitor with no issue, had to lower the gas lift resistance a lot actually. The range of motion is very good, much better than others I have had. A tad bit shorter than I had thought from photos but it's good enough. The cable management clips going down the arm are great, but my uppermost one broke with very little force while organizing all my cables. Also, it would be very nice if there were a way to lock it in landscape orientation so it doesn't try rotating when you're moving your monitor around. Overall would definitely recommend, 8/10 ... show more

  • Great design
Easy install and it's heavy duty enough for extra weight (like an extra 5lbs or so) the hydraulic is quite easily adjusted as well
