So far, I am very impressed. I purchased the blue black. I have hair dye allergies so I was really apprehensive to try this, but I was pleasantly surprised. There is no odor at all so no burning eyes. I did not have any skin sensitivity this far--no itching or burning like I usually experience. The color is amazing. Silky, shiny black BUT it stains skin more than other brands so just prepare. However, it didn't stain my shower, towels, or bedding. In fact, it rinsed out pretty easily from the shower. Just a note: Even though I rinsed and used shampoo, it did leave my hair so sticky and greasy even when my hair dried, but I used a clarifying shampoo and this took care of the issue without losing any color. I can't really answer to longevity because I just applied the color, but I will do an update in a few weeks. As of now, this is the best black box hair dye I've ever used and not just because it's cruelty free and vegan. I will definitely be purchasing again. ... show more

Color: Wheat Germ Blonde
After growing and trimming my colored hair for about a year and a half, I was left with unevenly colored hair with shades of natural light brown, grey and white, and some brassy ends. I used Naturtint Wheat Germ medium blonde with the intention of lifting my overall color about 1 level and evening out my color (except for the white alongside my face, which I covered with foil). The initial result was brilliant medium blonde, silky, shiny, and soft. The color was pretty, but a little too “yellow” for me; I wanted a medium ash blonde. (Naturtint doesn’t have that option, so I opted for their medium neutral blonde.). After shampooing three times, the color has faded more than I would expect of a permanent color. The end result was a more ashy, softer medium blonde, which suits me perfectly. I am very happy with my color now, but be aware that the color did fade out. If you are looking for depth of color, brilliance that lasts, you might be better off using a professional color. ... show more

The product covers my resistant grey for a full 3-4 weeks. The color I (5N) is what I expected and does not leave a red tint. The cream rinse/mask is thick and only a nickel size amount is needed to leave my hair soft and manageable. I had dyed my hair twice in two weeks with other hair color brands, which didn’t dye true to color and didn’t cover my grays at all. This hair color covered all of my gray 100%, and the color was true to the box. Even better? My hair feels entirely undamaged, it’s soooo shiny! Color result is very close to Pravana 5N. I have dark brown hair, with gray, and this color which is intense brown, came out, black as coal, was shocking, but other than that, it was ok, didn't burn my scalp like others do
